Our French mountain home is a comfortable four-bedroom property nestled on a forested mountainside midway between Geneva and Chamonix, with stunning views of the French Alps. The house is just 45 minutes' drive from Geneva Airport, and 30 minutes away from some of the most famous ski domains in the Alps, including the Portes du Soleil and the Grand Massif, home to Flaines, Les Carroz, Morillon, Sixt and Samoens. The house has been completely renovated and decorated in contemporary style throughout, and features a modern fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, open plan dining room, living room, three bathrooms and a sauna. Outside, there is a large private terrace, a swimming pool with removable cover, a new car port and a large well-maintained garden. We also offer French and UK cable TV channels and wireless internet.

Utmost beauty and comfort - highly recommended

This is a beautiful house set in stunning scenery. The view from the decking and pool area is breath taking. Inside the house is furnished and designed to the highest quality with both comfort and aesthetic appeal in mind. I would love to return to this gorgeous house sometime in either summer (for hill walking) or winter (for skiing). I unreservedly recommend. Sheila Jardine

The view is priceless and the home is so well equipped that you forget everything else and simply take in the nature, and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The modern accommodation and facilities are comparable or even better than many five stars hotels. The place is chic and very comfortable with a strong homely feel. It is worth visiting in any season but winter is my favourite because of the short distance to great places to ski or snowshoeing.

Lovely house and view

I have been visiting this house for 10 years mostly in the winter as it's a handy base for skiing, We go to Les Gets or Flaines. We have also come in the summer for hiking in the mountains.

Whatever the season this house is lovely to stay in, full of charm but very stylish. We have eaten out many times on the verandah and just love dining with a view.

There are some wonderful resaurants just a few minutes away by car.

A Stunning property

The house is perfectly situated for the most relaxing stay. One minute walk from pristine alpine forest, a 20 minute drive from the gorgeous little town of Marignier or, for the more adventurous, a one hour drive to Chamonix; for any outdoor pursuit you could think of.

However the pool, sauna and sensational view from the decking often left me quite content just to kick back with a G&T and a good book and enjoy the house. With it's unique blend of Thai and European interior design and architecture it really is something else.

I would whole-heartedly recommend this property to anyone. It was spotlessly clean and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating.

There are a number of tatami mats and couches which are suitable for children, however we do not have a baby cot.
