We are in the middle of the Kau area and close to all the attractions in our country setting. Next to the most delicious cafe in the area with homemade foods and an easy atmosphere. Very affordable and comfortable
Our guests comment that they feel 'like home' and love the beds and the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere with all the personal touches.
The stay was pretty cool! The house is in a quite neighborhood and there is a restaurant near by...and that is something you should consider during your stay here! The windows from the kitchen are open and you hear how the restaurant staff talks and you also hear all the noise from the kitchen and a loud air conditioner. We had earplugs and that was not a big issue...but for people who are sensitive to noise...maybe! Everything else was amazing, thank you very much!
My complements to the chef & staff & especially to patty the entire crew was excellent! Food awsome along with desert our stay was very relaxing its been about 5 years since our last stay x mas eve and day it re kindled our relationship! My girlfriend just loved it! Thank you patty !! You & your crew worked so hard & sacrificed their time & effort. Kudos to all of you Aloha Brickwood God Bless and a hahhp new years !!👍𣐼😇
Easy to get in and out. Owner was very nice. Clean and Comfortable. Great spot to stay on the southern part of the island. Had dinner and breakfast at Hana Hou. Good eats.
The rooms were clean, conveniently located, and the nearby restaurants were fun and tasty. This was perfect for my needs.
The place is farther from the Volcanoes National Park than I would have thought which was our primary reason for booking in the southern side of the island. The town has very little to offer if you are a morning person. Nothing opens until 8 or 9! The actual cabin was a perfect place to sleep but lacks a microwave. The beds were pretty comfortable and it was nice to have cable. Overall it worked for what we needed. It is right in between the green sand beach and the black sand beach which made for a great way to spend a morning.
I enjoyed my overnight stay @ Pattys cottage. It was super convenient to have the town restaurant right next door literally! It was maybe 100 steps out the cottage door. I stayed in cottage 2. Just right of a space for me. It could comfortably sleep 3, with one halii for another person to sleep on the floor. Thank you Patty!!! If there was one thing I would've liked was an a/c, it was hot during the day!!! Comfortable tropical cool at night though with the ceiling fan on full blast!!!! Aloha and Mahalo, Kathleen

Stop on by our restaurant and grab a bite to eat and while you're at it, have some dessert from our award-winning bakery, meet many of our friendly residents and very hospitable, restaurant employees.
