Spacious with loads of room for everyone even your pets. Perfect for visiting with family and friends. This house is a lovely home away from home.
Location, Location, Location!
This lovely house on the hill is conveniently located close to everything and provides a magnificent view of the mountains, city lights and hot-air balloons.
Quick access to highways and mass transit. Yet, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood supported by local merchants including parks, gazebo, picnic areas, tennis courts, basket ball courts, soccer fields, outdoor track, hiking, skiing, dog parks, restaurants, brew pubs, salons, movie theaters, shops, and the mall! This place has it all.
Also, just down the street from Both major west-side hospitals: Loveless and the new Presbyterian RUST Medical Center.
We came for the Balloon Fiesta and this home was the perfect location! Easy access to the festivities! The home was great to spread out in , yet cozy enough to play cards! We had a great time! Book it for your next stay in Albuquerque!
I stayed here for a little less than 6 weeks. The house sits on top of the hill, less than a mile away from Unser BLVD. Close to a lot of restaurants, the mall and about 8 min from Passeo Del Norte (Connecting road to I-25).
The house had a little yard which was why I decided to stay there as I had both of my dogs with me. All amenities were included so I didn't have to worry about pots and pans/washer and dryer/TV/Internet/...
If you're looking for a problem-free, pet-friendly beautiful house to spend some time in Albuquerque, this place would definitely be a good fit!
This property is perfect for people and dogs alike. There is a big grassy backyard and walking trails nearby. The house was roomy and had everything my family needed. The mall, stores, and restaurants are only a few miles away. Susie checked in on us and was prompt in dealing with a couple of issues that needed to be fixed. I would recommend this house to friends and relatives.
This is our second month long stay. Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable home on a quiet street. Great location, near a wonderful shopping center, grocers and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable, very nice washer and dryer meant not having to pack a lot. Did most of our cooking and were pleased to be near Sam's Club and Costco. Being able to take our two small dogs a real plus.
The house, property, location were great. We had a super time and did not want to leave. We had 2 couples and 3 dogs (well trained and awesome dogs). They enjoyed the fenced in back yard and Mesa for hiking. The bedrooms were great, we had the extra one if friends that were visiting us while we were in town needed to stay. The card room upstairs was nice for a break for some friends to play poker while others down stairs with TV and kitchen area. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we would need. We are hoping to stay here again next year when we come back.
While the property was nice and the house tidy, there were some very important details that I was extremely concerned about.
1. This is NOT a 4-bedroom house. I looked for this 4th bedroom for about 20m until I called the owner and I was given the answer, "It is 4 bedrooms depending on how you look at it." The 3rd and "4th bedrooms" were conjoined (these 2 conjoined rooms together had 2 closets, 1 bed, 1 chair, and 1 dresser). When I booked the place I had hoped for 4 bedrooms like I paid for, but had to haggle with the owner to bring an air matress so some of my friends wouldnt have to sleep in the loveseats. After being asked to go 50/50 on an air matress because "It is a huge investment" for the owner, she eventually caved and brought us an air matress an hour later.
2. The bedroom pictures are NOTHING like they are at the house. When I was searching for the mysterious 4th bedroom, I had to use windows as points of reference to find out which rooms were which. There were pictures of the same bedroom but different layouts (this made me believe there were actually 4 bedrooms when I originally booked the place).
3. A little less important, but the kitchen was a nightmare. We had no baking sheets (I even asked about this prior to visiting and was told there were baking sheets), the knives were dull to the point I could hardly prepare some meals, I couldn't find any measuring cups or spoons in the kitchen, and almost all of the pans had the nonstick coating scratched off. As I said, this wasn't a very important part in the review, it just made meal preparation a bit more difficult.
In all, I was very disappointed. The house wasn't as advertised (they don't have a trampoline, something my friends were looking forward to), the bedrooms were misrepresented, and I had to HAGGLE with the owner about getting us enough beds. The house was sufficient for a vacation home (we had a good time), but next time I'll make sure I'm more interrogative when I'm looking for homes. Also something to note, instead of meeting us at the house, the owner gave us 2 codes (she couldn't remember which code was for this house, but she told me all her houses use these same codes) to a lockbox that had the key on the side of the house. In hindsight, I should have been more worried about the security of the house (any previous tenant could have come by at any time and gotten a copy of the key).
Come visit the Land of Enchantment like a local. When you stay you'll enjoy all the perks of vacation travel with all the conveniences of home.
