Proximity to lake, snowmobile trails, and nature make it fun and versatile...you can do everything..4 wheel. snowmobile, snowshoe, cross country ski. downhill ski, hike, fish, hunt, white water rafting, golf. and bike. You name it, you can do it or just do nothing and enjoy the scenary. Private 5 acre lot. The house is warm and cozy: Feels like home..Come see why we fell in love with Greenville and Moosehead lake!!!!
ITS access 85/86;(Across The Street) 2 miles takes you to the most beautiful trails around: Close vicinity to town 3.1 miles, close to Canada border, Baxter State Park MT.KATAHDIN: private property with easy access to many activities. A bonus by itself:
This house severed as the perfect snowmobiling lodge for 4 days and 5 nights. Our small group of three brought two snowmobiles and rented a third in Greenville. The yard offered us ample room to park the snowmobiles and maneuver two vehicles (one with a trailer) without issue. From the house we rode around Elephant Mountain (stopping at the B-52 site), around Moosehead Lake, to the base of Katahdin, and to Moxie falls. Easy access to the wide and well maintained trails (ITS 85/86) allowed us to log more than 560 miles in 4 days without having to get up early or stay out much past sunset.
After our long days on the trails, this house offered us a warm wood stove, much needed showers, and a very comfortable place to relax/rest. The proximity to Greenville meant we were able to quickly run into town for fuel, food, or other supplies. Lesa and Kevin were very communicative and accommodating when we had questions.
We had a great time and look forward to returning next year.
Had a guya snowmobiling trip! This place was awesome. We will be making another reservation and our annual trip here! Thank you!
Stayed at the cabin for New Year's weekend, four adults and two kids. We had a great time! House is comfortable and well stocked. Owners are great and welcoming! They left us champagne and treats for the kids so they could make s'mores. Lesa kept in touch to make sure we arrived, that we had enough wood for the stove to keep us warm, and provided information about the local area activities. We hit a jackpot and got a foot and half of snow while there and as soon as the storm was over they had a plow come by and clear the driveway so we can get out and enjoy the area! We went for walks, went snowmobiling, skiing at the Big Squaw, took the kids dog sledding. Everyone we met was nice and helpful. The area is just breath taking beautiful during the winter! We can't wait to go back and stay at this cabin!
we had a wonderful stay here this weekend the riding was get and the home was even better we Will be returning real soon strongly recommend
The property was a perfect distance to Greenville and lily Bay state park. The kitchen had everything you can imagine for cooking full meals. The beds were comfy and there were fans which helped us sleep. Loved the outdoor fireplace and grill. The place was also really clean. Just an amazing overall place to stay to enjoy a family vacation.
