This elegant apartment has been completely remodeled in a luxurious style, while retaining the historic charm of the 1900-era building. Perfect for 1-5 travelers who want to experience the best of Paris.
Large living room with tall ceilings has two broad windows that flood the apartment with light. Dining area seats four people.
A full kitchen includes all new appliances - suitable for those who just want espresso in the morning, and also those who want to cook an elaborate three-course meal.
The charming bedroom includes a queen (160x200cm) bed with luxury linens, another wide window facing a quiet courtyard, and a marble fireplace. The sofabed in the living room folds out to a comfortable queen bed for two additional guests, plus there's a rollaway bed for a child.
A full-size washer/dryer (unusual in Paris apartments) makes a long stay easy.
I grew up in Cairo, lived in France during my teens and 20s, and then moved to California, where I live today. I always dreamed of owning an apartment in Paris.
Ali El Safy purchased this apartment in 2013
I've traveled extensively throughout France during the last 20 years, and most of my family still lives in France. Paris, and particularly Montmartre, has always been my favorite place.
The beautiful building from the 1900s caught my eye. The apartment needed work, but I saw it's potential and spent 6 months doing a complete remodel. I love the way the sunlight floods the apartment, and that you get a view of the Eiffel tower from the living room - if you stand in just the right spot :-)
My husband and I loved our week stay at the very French Maison Ferrari. It's light and attractive, quiet yet just a short walk from the bars and restaurants that thrive on Rue des Abesses and Rue Lepic. We've been to Paris many times and usually stay at the Marais section but Montmartre is a great new-to-us alternative. The word for Maison Ferrari and Montmarte as a whole is "chairmant." The building is a 19th century charmer with a small elevator. The 4th floor apartment has wonderful views of Parisien rooftops...and the beds, linens, towels, everything is first class! So easy to score this flat very highly on all measures!
Beautifully renovated Apartment. Has all you need for a short or long-term stay. I was here for three weeks, and did not want to go home. Supermarket, restaurants, bakery, playground 1 minute away. You can walk everywhere or take the bis which goes directly to the Louvre. Gate St. Lazare is close by as well, so you can have an easy connection to explore the villages outside Paris, and also see the Normandie.
This is my second time staying in this place and I have to say this is the best for your buck! This time I took my 3 year old daughter and Its centered location it the best, the manager is always there if you need anything. The whole apartment is nice and new, extremely cleaned! Will Definitely stay there again, and will surely recommend it to all my family and friends. Ali the owner was extremely nice, flexible and accommodating.
The property is well designed and lovely, but overpriced considering I could have stayed in the Marais for less. I am a frequent traveler to Paris.
The owner was enthusiastic at the start, but I was uncomfortable when he met me at the airport to give me the apartment keys and also gave me a gift (stuffed animal) that he wanted me to give to the woman checking me into the apartment in Paris. I really shouldn't have accepted it as I have no idea what it was. My mistake.
When we arrived, there was no WiFi or television or telephone service. Not sure if he paid his bill? In fact, there was no WiFi/tv/telephone for the entire stay. The owner told me to sign up for Orange WiFi and he would reimburse me. I've been home for 2 weeks and I have not heard from him nor have I received reimbursement. For the price of the apartment, I should have been accommodated, or at the least, I should have been reimbursed.
Disappointed because his enthusiasm cleared shifted; he was energetic and inviting at the start and not so much afterwards.
Oh well. I would recommend you stay where you're going to get treated well from start to finish, no matter what.
Just read this review to my husband, who agrees completely.
This apartment is a beautiful place with a wonderful view, lots of space, very clean! Easy ride from the airport, right on the heart of everything, nearby there are wonderful restaurants. The supervisor of the building was very helpful, the owner of the apartment was great to communicate with.
The best thing is that there is an elevator to the apartment :-)
There is a washer and dryer in the apartment, which came very handy for us! Kitchen very well-equipped! Everything is very new!
There is also a phone to call USA, that we used to call our kids daily, so we didn't have to buy one there. Highly recommended! I would definitely stay there again!!
We enjoyed our stay at this attractive, nicely appointed apartment in an excellent location. Close to shopping, good restaurants & public transit. Also appreciated how full of light & quiet it was. Fatima, the property manager, was very helpful.
In the higher part of Montmartre. Only 1 mi from Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
