About Brigitte Lepine

I grew up in Laval Quebec. Every summer, weekends from spring to autumn, winter holidays, our family was packing up and escaping direction Lac Levesque- away from the stress of the city. This is where I learned to love nature! I did not realize how important it was to me until I moved away and was deprived of it. Lac Levesque is part of my roots and family. In fact, it is my great grandparents (my mom's grandparent) who where the first one to settle there.

Brigitte Lepine purchased this cottage in 2012

Why Brigitte Lepine chose Saint-Émile-de-Suffolk

I started to go to Lac Levesque when I was in diapers and probably even before that. So, I have many memories from growing up in the region. Also, my mom build this place in 2005 on a piece of land she always wanted to purchase from my uncle (a Levesque).

When my mom decided to sell her place, I jumped on the occasion and made her place mine as I was interested in having a property in Lac Levesque once again.

What makes this cottage unique

The unique benefit of this property is to be in the unspoiled nature. The cottage is designed as a retreat for peaceful living.

Lac Levesque is one of the lakes who have the cleanest water in the region and this is due to the fact that gas motor boats are not allowed on the lake. Also we are in close proximity of lots of activities.

Liked the place and the owner

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the house in the winder with three children. Everyone liked the house. The house has a "nice" feel to it, there is plenty of space between it and other houses and the location is gorgeous. Brigitte was also very helpful.

Well equipped home on peaceful lake.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the house for a weekend of skiing at Mont Tremblant. It was wonderful that Brigette allowed us to bring our dog, and we took several walks around the lake with her off leash, as no one was around. We saw deer every day and a couple wild turkeys one morning. It was about a 30 minute drive to the market and restaurants in Mont Tremblant Centre-Ville, but the peace and quiet were well worth it.

Lovely location and very comfortable property

  • 4 of 5

My husband and young daughter and I treated ourselves to a long weekend at this property and are glad that we splurged. The house seems to have everything you could possibly need to relax and live comfortably - from excellent kitchen tools (e.g. lettuce spinner, ice cream maker, etc.) to reading material, a kayak, canoe and paddle boat as well as kids toys, a lovely bath tub with a view and awesome windows overlooking the lake.

The lake itself is small but alive with frogs and fish and nice and clear for swimming. Although there is no shortage of homes and cottages on the lake, Brigitte's property is quite private and spacious. We would definitely be keen on returning.

Fantastic place!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here for the Family Day long weekend and had a wonderful experience! It had everything we needed and then some.

We were looking for a ski trip to Mt Tremblant without the craziness Tremblants village life. This place provided us exactly what we were looking for with only a 30 minute drive to the slopes.

Can't wait to check it out during one of the other seasons!

Owner's Response: Super-duper review Adam! You are correct. The cottage is close enough to the ski hill and far enough from its craziness :-) Please come again! Brigitte :-)

Impressive!

  • 5 of 5

I am genuinely thankful for the great getaway we had. We didn't expect such a beautiful and convenient cottage, and were pleasantly surprised. Everything we needed was there, and by everything I really mean "everything"! Dinnerware, cookware, spices, various games, wood for fireplace, clean blankets and sheets, books, videos, even Christmas decorations! The most adorable thing that we saw was that, because we had a toddler with us and Brigitte knew it, she had left some cute toys for him on the bed in a pretty manner. We immensely enjoyed the place and will definitely go back.

Tranquil and Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful home on a gorgeous lake made for a perfect long week-end to rest and re-charge.

A very quiet lake that we so enjoyed being able to sit out in the morning to enjoy our coffee and watch the birds and chipmunks. We loved paddle boating around the entire lake

Clean and comfortable home and everything you could need in the kitchen. Yes, even the cheese grater!

Thank-you for sharing your home and we will enjoy visiting in the winter
