A touch of New Orleans at the Gulf of Mexico! The Royal Orleans is a quaint, comfortable condo complex across the street from the white sands of the Gulf. The Royal Orleans has a year-round heated pool, free WiFi, on site coin laundry and is just steps away from public beach access!
Unit 213 is decorated in a fun, beachy theme with all the comforts of home! After a fun day at the beach, grab a drink, sit on the deck and enjoy views of the sun setting over the Gulf!
This studio is perfect for a couple or a young family. The unit is spacious enough for a long-term stay. The floor plan allows for a bed, desk, flat-screen TV, dining table and comfortable chair all with distance to the kitchen and a nice-sized bathroom with hairdryer and plush towels. With the layout as a T configuration, you will still be in the midst of the action without feeling too confined.

The owners are Michiganians who love to leave the cold north for fun in the sun in Florida and European adventures. They are committed to giving their guests the quality and comforts that they have come to expect on their many travels.
They speak English and German fluently and conversational French and Spanish! You are welcome to contact them in your native language if it is most comfortable for you!
Redington Beach is the most beautiful, relaxing area along Florida's Gulf Coast. The Royal Orleans is known for quality upkeep, management as well as a quieter place to stay. And the pool is always a warm 80 degrees!
While staying at their properties, the owners enjoy the easy access to the beach, delicious seafood restaurants and the close distance to Tampa International Airport. They often skip the rental car and take the Supershuttle to the condo and use the Trolley service that runs from Clearwater to St. Pete Beach! Even John's Pass and Treasure Island are close by.
Would stay there again!
This charming studio unit was just as described and has everything needed for a great vacation rental, from linens, cutlery and dishes to beach towels, chairs and umbrella. Upon arrival the unit was tidy and ready for me to drop my bags and enjoy. Burkhard the owner provided prompt responses to my inquiries prior to my arrival and was very accommodating . This unit is not only steps from the beautiful gulf beach which is great but its a short drive to Tampa, and Clearwater both areas I had events to attend . Of course there are local restaurants within walking distance and The Frog Pond has an awesome breakfast. I would definitely recommend this property for those seeking fun in the sun . The only thing that would have made this property a 5 star for me would have been for it to located directly on the beach, but again it's only a short walk.
Everything was amazing!!!Our unit was great and the beach was right across the street! All of the facilities were outstanding!value for money is the words you are looking for!!!We will definitely going back!!!
We stayed in this property for a week and July and it was perfect. The owners really went out of their way to be helpful and make themselves available around the clock. We've stayed at several different rentals using Homeaway and this was by far one of the best and best people to rent from! The location is perfect walking distance to the beach and the pool on property was perfect. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
Everything about our experience went smooth and easy. The location was beautiful, with the beach right across the street. The apartment was great and had everything we needed for our stay. We were very pleased and grateful.
This was our 3rd stay at Royal Orleans, but out first time in this particular unit. The unit itself was clean, had a very comfortable bed, and provided everything we needed for our 10 night stay. The owner, Burkhard Kappe, was easy to work with, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we may have had. Our main issue with the unit was that it didn't have a sofa, but had a desk area instead. A sofa would be nice when staying for an extended period of time. Overall, I would give the unit 4 1/2 stars out of 5. The pool is usually well maintained, and a nice temperature. The walk to the beach is short (around 3 minutes) and easy. As this is a mostly residential area, the beach has never been very busy. Lots of room for walking! If you're lucky you may catch sight of dolphin and sea turtles. There are several excellent restaurants (Conch Republic, Dockside Dave's, Mad Beach Fish House) within a short driving distance. John's Pass provides some good shopping, but be prepared to pay to park.
During our stay, we experienced a tropical storm, maintenance/painting going on within the Royal Orleans complex, and new construction on the property next door. The tropical storm was not a big deal, and really only kept us totally inside for about half of a day and night. (It also created some wonderful shelling opportunities for the next few days). The new construction was even tolerable. The painting and maintenance, on the other hand, was an issue. This being our 3rd stay at Royal Orleans, we knew what a clean, relaxing, friendly atmosphere it could be. In the past we had always felt a "Wow!" factor when walking into the courtyard. We didn't really experience that this time. It seemed as if many guests didn't follow the general rules of cleaning up after themselves and not hanging towels and such on the balconies (there is a list of visitor expectations within the units). These things only added to the messiness created by the painters. Fortunately, the painting is only a temporary issue, but the overall management needs some help. In the past, there was a couple who came through to clean and tidy things up on a daily basis. This was no longer happening. Tables, chairs, and lounges were in disarray within the courtyard, and the fountain and plants needed some tending to. These are all issues that can only be controlled by management. Hopefully things will get back to what they once were.
In spite of these few setbacks, we would stay again.
