This home was absolutely beautiful. It was everything I expected and more. Our family was able to cook and enjoy all the amenities. We hardly ever left the home because it was so cozy. I would highly recommend this home for those who want to ski locally. The local shopping center is less than a mile away with Starbucks and all kinds of restaurants around the corner.
Pros: very spacious home in very nice neighborhood. We felt very safe and comfortable in this part of town. Extremely close to shopping, restaurants, etc. TVs in every room, secluded back yard, great access to I-215, can get anywhere in SLC very quickly from this location. Owner is responsive to needs and
Cons: It is a multi-level home and the upstairs, where 3 of the 4 bedrooms are located, becomes extremely hot. Uncomfortable to sleep in regardless of temp set on AC because thermostat is on lower level and only one AC unit for a large home. The basement and middle floor stay cool, but again most of the bedrooms are upstairs.We spoke with the owner about this and she was kind enough to bring fans to the home, unfortunately it was still too hot. I slept on the couch in the middle floor. If you don't mind really warm temperatures to sleep in then you will be fine.
The home was not cleaned entirely when we arrived. Downstairs bathroom had large clumps of hair in the shower and mold on tile. There was an opened unused tampax in the toothbrush holder, strange! Dishwasher was full of most of the dishes when we arrived as if they had been washed but not put away.
Not the most kid friendly home, as the home has glass china cabinets with glassware, and little breakable trinkets on most side tables, etc. The surround sound advertised for the basement theater doesn't work. The Bose speakers are there but the tuner/amplifier is gone from the unit. That wasn't such a big deal since we were out a lot but should not be advertised as home with theater because it isn't currently.
Overall: could be a great property but needs the above issues resolved especially if staying in the summer time.
Beautiful home with every imaginable convenience! There was something for all of us in our multi-generation get-together......privacy, large-screen TV's, Wi-fi, toys for the children, games, books, pool table, wonderful deck off kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked which was very nice. We especially loved the open kitchen/great room combination.
We found that getting to any major SLC attraction took only about 20-25 minutes, but there were many conveniences close-by: grocery store, very good restaurants, playgrounds and parks for the children.
The owner was very easy to communicate with and let us check in early when we arrived ahead of schedule!
We would definitely stay here again! It was a great home away from home!
This home is beautifully set up to host a large family gathering. The owners were wonderful to work with and the location is close to shopping and tourist sites. We had a great experience.
