Discover the charms of Aix en Provence, the “ville d’art et d’histoire” of Provence. Stroll through the pedestrian streets of the historic center, admire the beautiful architecture and fountains or learn about the life of Cezanne. Along your way, you’ll find local designer shops, tasty restaurants, delicious delis and boulangeries.

Then come back to your own comfortable pied a terre, a recently renovated and tastefully furnished apartment.

The master suite has a double bed as well as a full bathroom (tub/shower combo, toilet and sink). The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is an additional bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The living/dining room opens to a den/TV room with a sleeper sofa.

A five minute walk from the apartment will take you to the top of the pedestrian Rue d’Italie, full with lively shops, restaurants, delis, boulangeries and an all organic grocery store. At the end of the Rue d’Italie you’ll be at the top of the famous Cours Mirabeau.

Right by the apartment, on Cours Gambetta, you’ll find three grocery stores, including an all organic one, a post office, a pharmacy and an ATM.

Excellent experience

The location is superb. The flat is spacious and contains everything one could possibly need. And the fact that it has its own garage ( extremely important in Aix) is special addition. We would surely recommended it to anyone planning to visit Aix en Provence!

Lovely apartment with all conviences

With stayed 2 weeks with our teenage daughter in this lovely, clean, well decorated and spacious appartement. It had everything you you may need ,: dishwasher , washing machine, all necessary appliances , wifi, airconditioning and two bathrooms. Even a Nespresso coffee machine was there ! The owner Mrs. Marie Jose Choux was extremely helpful. She answered all our prior emails within a couple of hours and even picked us up from the bus station by car to show us the apartment and how to get to the garage which is situated right behind the house. We spend the first week in Aix en Provence where absolutely no car is needed. The center is only 5 min walk away, so are the supermarket, bank and bakery. For the second week the garage came in very handy as we then had rented a car .We never had to worry about parking and there are so many wonderful day trips one can do in the Provence.We definitely want to return to see more. The apartment was always a very pleasant place to come back to . Nice, cool and quiet. The only disadvantage I could think of that the balconies are too narrow for three people to comfortably sit and eat and the front balcony also faces the main road so the view there is not as charming as the back one. But with the old center of Aix en Provence and Cours Mirabeau within walking distance , with all the restaurants, markets and cafes in the vicinity, we did not really need the balcony. We would definitely recommend this apartment and are thinking of coming back to see more of the beauty the Provence has to offer .

Cozy, clean, quiet, well-decorated apartment in great location!

It's a really nice, clean, modern and tastefully decorated apartment just a 5 minute walk from Vieux Aix and 10 minutes from Cours Mirabeau. Building is quiet and seemed quite secure, although nondescript from the outside. Apartment had everything we needed in kitchen, a washer (although no drier, we did not need one with the warm dry outside air), dishwasher, etc. Bedrooms were nice too. Plenty of space. Two good bathrooms: Master bathroom with tub and shower is separated from bedroom by only a curtain, and the second bath has a door and shower. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very good Wi-Fi...it was never out or slow during our 6 week stay. Nice small balcony. Easy walk to shops/everything you need. We were very happy here and would definitely return. Owner very easy to work with and very reaponsive. And Aix-en-Provence is absolutely one of the most beautiful, welcoming, and calm small cities in the world.
