About Scott King
Originally from California. We have lived in Seattle for (10) years now and love it. We enjoy all the northwest has to offer.
Scott King purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Scott King chose Magnolia
Home is located within an upscale neighborhood a short block from the Magnolia Village. Also one block from the Picturesque Magnolia Bluff with expansive views of the City and the Puget Sound.
What makes this Apartment unique
A very close-in City location that offers a more relaxed rural environment.

Magnolia - Briarcliff Serenity
The property was exactly as described and then some. It is close to downtown and the tourist sites were a very close car ride away. Scott and Sandy were quite helpful and great hosts.
We walked to a couple of nearby restaurants that were very good. The Village Pub and the local Mexican restaurant, El Ranchon.
The rental was quite comfortable and the second bathroom came in handy. I cooked breakfast in the apartment each morning with no problem. Everything worked well. Check staples before shopping. I always seem to buy something that’s already there.
The bed was comfortable and the linens were pristinely white.
The dogs were no problem for us. They bark at you but we knew they were friendly.
Seattle weather was at its best for our 4 day trip.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this home again.
Thanks Sandy and Scott for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We came to Seattle to meet our new granddaughter, and we found an amazing place for our 4 day stay. We enjoyed the beautifully renovated apartment. Sandy and Scott have thought of every detail to make one's stay memorable. Add to this, the short walk to the village and the sound, and you have an ideal scenario. As our son and his family have found, Magnolia is a very special place.
Quiet stay in Magnolia, with view of Space Needle
I had a lovely stay at this home. From the street, I had a hard time determining which house I was looking for, but in the alley the garage has the house number clearly displayed! Entry from the alley, where there is a parking spot just for the guests, is easy, with easy entry into the house. Scott and Sandy were very nice, but not at all intrusive. The master bed and bath was super comfortable, kitchen well supplied with modern appliances, and there is even a bit of a view of downtown from the living room. Although the back of this apartment is in the basement, the front is daylight (due to it’s location on the hill). Altogether a nice place. This being Seattle, and its placement, there is a bit of a mildew smell in the bedroom — didn’t bother me, but if you have an allergie to mold, this might not be the place for you. I would definitely stay again!
We were visiting family in Magnolia and this location was perfect. We could walk to village. Much more room and more comfortable than a hotel. Everything was spotless and the Kings were gracious hosts.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this apartment very much. It was very clean and well appointed. The location is fantastic...close to downtown but in a very quiet neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the 2 dogs, Ricco and Leo, who greeted us every time we came back to the apartment. The owners were very responsive with any questions we had and even left us a goodie basket upon our arrival. We highly recommend this property!
Beautiful property and welcoming owners!
I stayed here while visiting Seattle on my own for a few days before heading to Vancouver, BC for a conference. The property was very well maintained with great amenities. Traveling alone, I felt safer here than I would have at a hotel. The King's were very welcoming and helpful with suggesting local attractions and restaurants. Having the pups there made me miss home a little less as well. Having said that, I don't want it to seem like they were hovering-- I definitely had my own space and came and went as I pleased but they were easily accessible if it was needed and the pups only came around when asked to and welcomed by me
I HIGHLY recommend this property and I will definitely look them up when I come back to Seattle to show my son the city. Thank you for everything!!
