One hundred fifty feet of sandy bathing with gradual slope, two wharves, swim raft, stone fireplace by lake for cook-outs, outdoor shuffle-board court and table tennis.

Complimentary use of canoes. KAYAK RENTALS available.

There are many islands to explore by water. The harbor is protected on three sides which makes it ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

We live on the property and assist our guests with check-in, boat rentals, finding local attractions, and any other way we can. One of our reviewers says it best: 'Cindy and Gary are experienced hosts who know how to welcome guests and offer assistance, but also leave space for privacy. They are genuinely nice people, and we felt completely comfortable with them'. We have new guests and guests that have been coming for over 40 years.

First time visit..

  • 5 of 5

We've been looking for affordable lakeside lodging convenient to Center Harbor for several years. In addition to being clean and comfortable Cindy & Gary's cabin location was perfect. Our sons are now interested. Have to note Gary's assistance securing my boat within the slip was greatly appreciated. We plan to return in the fall and certainly next spring. Hopefully cabins will be available then!

Quiet rustic cottage near NH lake

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was quiet, clean, and convenient and exactly as advertised. Owners Cindy and Gary went out of their way to make us comfortable. Small kitchen had all of the necessities: refrig, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and stove. For chilly nights, the cabin heater worked. The screened-in porch allowed us to enjoy the outdoors without the mosquitos and bugs. Restaurants and supermarkets were a short drive. And, yes, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Serene and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We experienced a real vintage New Hampshire stay here in this quaint bit of heaven. Spotless and comfortable this place was perfect for us as we appreciate being right near the water and pine trees. Gary and Cindy couldn't have been nicer and they truly have captured a "time standing still" atmosphere.

Welcoming & relaxing

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at Colonial Pines. Cindy and Gary were welcoming and considerate as hosts. Our adorable cottage was tidy and had everything we needed. A wonderful sandy swimming area with plenty of lakeside spaces to relax and rejuvenate. We will return for sure.
