Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday chalet in Hérémence - Mon Bijou

Cosy and charming, with a breath-taking view in the sunniest region of the alps

Cosy and charming with a touch of luxury, the Chalet 'Mon Bijou' is located in the heart of the sunniest region of the Swiss Alps offering a breath-taking view of the Dent-Blanche, the tip of the Matterhorn, the Grande Dixence and the pyramids of Euseigne.

Ideal for two families with children. In the summer, Mon Bijou is perfect for hiking, biking, playing tennis, barbecuing, mountaineering or simply chilling.

In winter, enjoy the snow in Thyon and the 4 Vallees, come back to take a sauna, followed by a delicious dinner and finish off sipping the local spirit (abricotine) or a hot chocolate, next to the fireplace.

Thyon has a very famous skiing school for children and backcountry skiing is incredible and a lot less crowded than Verbier.

The Chalet has the following facilities:

- 3 bedrooms (King bed, Double bed and bunk-beds)

- 2 Bathrooms (one with a bathtub, the other one has a shower and it's just outside the sauna)

- 2 Parking spots (exterior)

- Sauna (4 pax)

- Garden

- Garden furniture

- Terrace

- Wi-Fi (upon request, it's basically a 3G router)

- Flat Screen - DVD - Satellite TV

- Fireplace

- Washing and Drying Machines

- Dishwasher

- Ski-room

- Baby cot

- Baby Chair

- Electric BBQ grill

We want you and your family to feel at home, relax and enjoy. That's the Mon Bijou spirit.

Make sure you use the garden and all the amenities of the chalet (100m2) fireplace, sauna, kids swings, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, DVDs, etc.

Mon Bijou is at the full disposal of our guests. We won't stick around, but we will figure out a way to give you the keys.

It's full of families and friendly people. the ambience is calm and we love our neighbours.

There has been a lot of construction going on in the past years. Fortunately, the view of Mon Bijou is safe, because the whole area in front of it is protected by law.

There is a bus stop 300 mts uphill from Mon Bijou, it can take you to Thyon or to Sion. The bus is run the company Theytaz and it's free of charge during ski season.

There's a grocery store next to the restaurant of Les Masses. It opens every day and it's very well equipped. Otherwise you can drive to Les Collons where there's a small supermarket.

Check out the website of Thyon or 4vallées, there is plenty of useful information there.

We want you and your family to feel at home, relax and enjoy. That's the Mon Bijou spirit.

After hours of driving into the loops, in the heat, we arrived at the cottage. The staircase had not been cleaned and was impractical (full of tall grass), we had to take down the neighbors to the cottage. The lawn was not mowed garden either, we had to mow to be able to eat out, as were high weeds and critters everywhere.

Inside the cottage was clean, but the owners of the business were everywhere: in the entrance shoes, toothbrush beside the sink, shower flower and shampoo in the shower, clothes in closets, and even the fridge and freezer were full. We did not know where to put our business, and we do not feel at home at all.

Despite this, the owner was warm by email. The view was great because the cottage is at altitude. In addition, we were in a quiet corner. Inside the cottage was very clean and well maintained. The cabin is spacious enough and sauna works w

perfect family holidays in a nice chalet

Hallo ,

we had a very good time in your chalet. Perfect for us was the sauna after the skiing day oder the chimney and the big knives to cut your bread and meat;-) Also it is also very suitable for smal children. No way to the lift. We know 4 vallee since any years- we will come back- for us it is one of the biggest bright sides of life...Greatings
