About the property

Recently renovated for 2016, Creekside now features central air and heat, remodeled kitchens, new flooring, new beds, and more. You'll get the great prices you've come to expect at Creekside, with many modern conveniences and updates now included.Creekside East and West are adjoining cabins that offer you the full Pack Creek Ranch experience with economy and comfort. Each cabin can sleep up to six people. Situated in a former bunkhouse on the banks of Pack Creek, the verdant scrub oak trees and bird life of the creek bed are right outside the bathroom and kitchen windows. A stone-floored, shared front porch provides fantastic views of the La Sal Mountains and the sunset over the red rock rim. The Ranch offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (traditionally open Memorial day through Sept. but subject to change), plus a year-round hot tub and sauna. Wildlife abounds and there are many nearby trails.

Settle in for some easy living at Creekside East. The large bedroom has 2 comfortable queen beds and clothing storage via a shared 4-drawer dresser and wall hooks. A door opens into the newly renovated bathroom with tile floor and sunny yellow walls. The hard-surface sink/vanity has a large, well-lit mirror and there is one shower. A second door in the bathroom opens into a short hallway where you’ll find deep storage shelves.

The homey living room has a large coffee table, 2 overstuffed easy chairs, and queen-size sofa sleeper. The dining alcove provides eclectic ambiance with barn wood walls, seating for four at the drop-leaf table, and lighting via a Tiffany stained glass hanging lamp. A snack bar with two stools provides additional dining space. The rustic base cabinets of the step-up, galley-type kitchen are washed in a refreshing lake-blue shade, and topped with a unique bamboo countertop. Meal preparation is a breeze with a 4-burner stovetop, large toaster oven, and microwave oven. A double sink and medium-size refrigerator/freezer complete the kitchen, which is fully equipped with dishes and cookware. This rustic cabin does not have TV and cell service may be limited.

Peaceful, comfortable, relaxing cabin in a gorgeous mountain cove

  • 4 of 5

These cabins are in a gorgeous cove with mountain views in every direction. So peaceful and relaxing. Loved that it was about 15 minutes outside of the main part of Moab (the downtown is touristy and not attractive). The cabin was charming and clean with comfortable beds and nice linens. We enjoyed the hot tub - beautiful views of the setting sun - and our kids loved visiting the goats (2 mamas and 4 little babies). As others have noted, there is just one set of dishes in the kitchen, some pots, pans, bowls, and knives. Except for salt and pepper, there are no other supplies. The Village Grocery store is about 15 minutes away in the south part of downtown -- recommend stopping there for food before you head to the cabin. Wifi in our cabin was good -- Verizon cell service was weak, but fine in town for a call we needed to make. We'd stay here again!

Quaint, off the beaten track cabin, where you can see the Milky Way!

  • 4 of 5

What an adorable little old farm! Our cabin was clean and comfortable and the drive to get here was extra beautiful with all the fall leaves shining brightly. I only gave 4 stars because it says "sleeps 6", yet there are only 4 bowls and 4 plates in the cupboard. I rent places with kitchens, not just beds, because I like to cook and I expect the kitchen to be functional, and accommodate my whole party.

The hot tub was a nice bonus, and was large and very clean, and if we came back in summer the pool seemed nice and large, and would be a good escape from the Moab summer heat.

My favorite unexpected surprise were the 3 goats on the property! What a quaint little get-a-way...close enough to access town, but far enough to escape the crowds!

Beautiful setting

  • 4 of 5

Excellent location, good place to get away. Peaceful as can be.

Kitchen props are awful. For a place that is so distant from restaurants and especially if you like to cook kitchen utensils should be in better shape
