About the property

An Outdoors Person Dream Vacation. Ski-In Ski-Out And Amazing Golfing

This beautiful luxurious hi end condo feels more like a cottage than a condo. It has plenty of space at 1303 sqft of living space and it is on the ski hill just above the main ski lift. This beautiful home will host 8 people comfortably. There are 3 large bedrooms that are fully furnished. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with full shower and also has private access to the private hot tub on the balcony. There is also a large Queen size bed. The second bedroom has a large double bed and elegant French doors and. The third bedroom has bunk beds for the kids. There is also a leather sofa bed in the living room. There are beautiful slate stone floors in the foyer and hardwood floors through the rest of the home except the bedrooms and bath rooms. The house also comes with a fully equipped kitchen with all essentials including coffee and hot chocolate and 6 appliances including washer and dryer. The dining area has a dining set that will accommodate 8 but there is also seating room on the bar area of the huge kitchen island. The living room has a very comfortable leather 3 piece set and a 50' flat screen smart TV that comes with Netflix loaded on to it. it is perfect for watching movies of playing games on the Xbox one that is also in the living room. Just of the living room there is a door that leads to the balcony where you seat and relax on the patio set and enjoy a barbeque or go into the nice hot tub and unwind and let your muscles relax after a day of skiing. There is also a second full bathroom just down the hall which has a jack and Jill door to the third bedroom. There is underground heated parking and plenty of storage available.

Kimberley is known as both the 'City of Festivals' and the 'Bavarian City of the Rockies,' it's not just the European alpine theme that sets this picturesque little city apart from nearby communities such as Cranbrook.

Things to Do in Kimberley

At an impressive elevation of 1,110m/3,642ft, Kimberley's altitude, often sunny skies and impressive amount of snowfall means it's a favoured ski/snowboard destination in the Kootenay Rockies. Kimberley Alpine Resort and the Kimberley Nordic Centre are located just minutes from 'downtown' (note that this busy 'downtown' has only one traffic light!).

Close to Kimberley are myriad lakes, rivers (including the St. Mary River) and streams that offer excellent fishing, rafting and boating opportunities. Natural mineral hot springs can be found close by (great for a soak after a long day), and there are numerous city and provincial parks and gardens, including Cominco Gardens, not far from the action in town.

Kimberley is also renowned as a golf destination. Its three championship golf courses – Bootleg Gap, Trickle Creek Golf Resort and Kimberley Golf Course are visitor favourites and are ranked among the top places to visit here. Expect challenging courses, and breathtaking and unrestricted vistas of the valley.

Festivals and Events

Its 'City of Festivals' moniker is also apt. Kimberley hosts some pretty unique events, including community faires, the International Old Time Accordion Championships and the offbeat community Dirtbag Film and Photo Festival, held in October. The Kimberley Platz is home to a very big cuckoo clock! Canada's largest freestanding cuckoo clock greets visitors, and 'Happy Hans' (the town mascot) emerges with a yodel if fed a one dollar coin (also known as a 'loonie').

Kimberley's Platzl

When not on the slopes or trails or exploring local attractions, visitors will find plenty to explore near the Platzl, a pedestrian-only esplanade lined with picturesque shops, cafes, restaurants and cute, hand-painted fire hydrants. A handful of other shops, services, cafés and casual restaurants can be found about a five-minute drive south of town centre, in the small enclave of Marysville.

Please note that the pool is open in the summer only and it usually opens on May long weekend. However, The hot tub is open all year young and its on the balcony

What makes this condo unique

This beautiful home was professionally decorated and furnished by a professional interior designer. The beautiful and elegant real wood blinds, real wood trim, doors and fire place mantle give this condo he feel of a cottage in the mountains and not of a condo. This is the only building in the Kimberley Alpine resort that is concrete construction which makes it very quiet and secure. there are 9 feet ceilings and the condo is a corner unit with windows all around it which bring in a lot of natural light to the condo. There is air conditioning for the hot summer days and if that is not enough jump in the outdoor pool. There is also a gym that can be used during your stay which is located next to the pool

Excellent location, very central and quiet

The unit was very well stocked and comfortable. The only thing you need to bring is food and the ability to relax. Very roomy, centrally located, and the neighbourhood was exceptionally quiet! Very close to the ski hill and the wonderful townsite of Kimberley is just a 5 minute drive away. Really good rate for an excellent unit. Nice job Roberto!!!

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, awesome hot tub

Had a great time in the condo. It's really quite big, we had six people and there was more than enough room. Comfy furniture, beds, great kitchen with everything you need to cook. Essentials stocked in there too, no need for salt, pepper, basic things like that. Then how could I forget the hot tub. Great way to recover after a hard day on the hill. The condo is in the perfect location on the corner so it has tons of privacy and again it was easily able to hold six of us. I'm sure we'll visit Kimberley again and hopefully we can stay here again!
