An Unforgettable opportunity to experience Barcelona, staying in a unique design apartment. This flat has an exquisite taste. Each room has its own character giving the flat a great atmosphere.

The flat is located in Rambla Poblenou St. (pedestrian street). This street is the core of the Poblenou neighborhood. There are many cafes and nice restaurants. It is one of the most commercial streets in Barcelona.

Just a few minutes on foot down the Rambla Poblenou you have the beach of Barcelona and the Olympic Harbour. On walking distance you can also visit some of the icons of Barcelona: The famous Sagrada Familia by Antonio Gaudi. From there you can walk up on Gaudi´s Ave. to the Sant Pablo’s Hospital another icon of the Art Noveau in Barcelona. The modern Agbar tower is 5 min on foot, this modern building designed by Jean Nouvel that holds the water company. Some nights of the week it’s illuminated with color lights.

The flat itself is 123 sqm (1345sqf). It has two double rooms each with a queen bed and a full bathroom (bathtub). There is a third bedroom with a queen bed available if needed. The main bedroom boasts a large windowed balcony with a Elizabethan style armchair, from where you will have the chance to see how life flows on Rambla Poblenou. The large living room is devoted to details and to a mixture of styles. A smart use of color on the walls creates the necessary warmth, then the designer furniture, the leather couch, a Bose sound surround system and a large plasma TV and cable TV, are the punch, the ingredients that will make you fall in love with this home. The walls have been thought by an interior designer to give the flat that very stylish look. It took us more than a year to plan all the areas. Every piece of furniture is intended to be special for the room its located. The kitchen is a paradise of gadgets: refrigerator with TV, wine cooler, washing machine, dryer and all the gadgets you need to cook as a chef.

The Rambla poblenou is a very dynamic Street with lots of local shops, nice cafes and restaurants. Close to the beach and very handy to get to the city center.

What makes this apartment unique

A Unique design apartment. It took us more than a year to plan all the areas. Every piece of furniture is intended to be special for the room its located. Very warm atmosphere for your stay. We would define it as a Boutique apartment.

Outstanding apartment - very well-equipped, perfect location

We spent 4 nights in the apartment and we definitely want to come back. Apartment has 3 beautifully appointed spacious bedrooms, 2 excellent bathrooms and a large comfortable living dining area. Everything has been thought - the bathroom has Gel & shampoo (always annoying to buy a bottle for three days and then throw it out at the airport), the Wi_Fi was easy and fast etc...Kitchen was very well-equipped. We rented a mobile Wi_fi for the car from the owner which was very helpful as our rental car didn't have GPS. The owner's Dad welcomed us with a very gracious tour of the apartment in perfect English - absolutely no problem with the handover either way.

Now a word on location - PobleNou ("New Town") is an up & coming part of Barcelona - the apartment is right at the ramblas of this part of the city - literally tree-lined streets with a big pedestrian walkway in the middle and almost no traffic (just locals). It's about 10 blocks to the beach and you'll pass 20 restaurants, 5 artisan ice cream stores etc... on the way there. The building itself has a great fruit & vegetable store and a fantastic artisan bakery in the bottom - you get the idea. Subway is 2 minutes away - you really don't need a car.

So... couldn't be any better in my view - very comfortable for our family of five and we'd like to be back soon

Fabulous stay in Barcelona!

We had a wonderful stay at Miguel's apartment. It was very comfortable for our family of four. He neighborhood was very safe and pretty. We almost felt like we were living in Barcelona for the week.

The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable (although the king bed was a little too big for the room and we couldn't get around it easily) Miguel was very helpful prior to put stay answering my email questions right away. The best thing we did was the foodie stroll with Regina! It was also easy to get a taxi and walk to the beach!

Best Flat in Barcelona

We had an amazing trip to Barcelona thanks to staying in Poblenou! What a great apartment in a fabulous part of town.

Here's my review based on what I am always looking for:

1. Owner: As many reviews have noted, Miguel was very responsive before we left and answered all my questions. He was also super responsive when we were there. We asked for more towels and he showed up with them that day! Honest, kind and easy to work with.

2. Actual flat: My family has stayed in many places around the world and I can say this place is CLEAN! The bathrooms, the shower, the kitchen, the tile and grout.. all clean!

The layout is wonderful for a family (we were 2 adults and 3 kids under 9 and 2 grandmas for part of it!)

The balcony was our favorite spot to sit out in the afternoon for wine and cheese. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating and easy to use.

The apartment building was quiet

The flat has the most AMAZING black out curtains we have ever experienced. Even my 4 year old slept until 9 everyday!

Location: Location to me is everything. I thought we would regret being away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but we fell in love with Poblenou. The kids could walk outside with leisure. The best coffee, fruit, pizza, restaurants, bakeries... all within a 5 minute walk of the flat. School kids walking to school. Even a neighborhood parade happened when we were there! There is a park close by that my kids loved to go to after a day of sight seeing. We returned numerous times to the gelato bar and the restaurants at the base of the apartment. The workers knew my kids names and greeted them each day!

We are foodies and found some amazing restaurants in the neighborhood that were super inventive.

With kids we could walk to the metro in about 15 minutes. We walked to the beach in 15 minutes (In the mornings I ran to the beach in 5 minutes - the boardwalk there is unbelievable).

We rented electric scooters in the neighborhood.

Taxis are easy to get as well.

Thanks for the great spot Miguel and family! We will be back!

Wonderful Place

We absolutely loved where we stayed. The owners were so nice, they answered every question we had. We travelled with young kids and the location was perfect! The flat was so nice, we can not wait to go back!! I would recommend staying at any of their places!!

Convenient location in great neighborhood

The property was perfect for two couples. It was very clean with all the necessary kitchen utensils. Miguel's parents greeted us and showed us everything we needed to know. They also provided us with fresh fruit and a bottle of wine which was awesome! The property is only a short walk to the beach down a relaxing boulevard and also very easy to access the Metro. There were more bar/restaurants within a 3 block distance than we could visit in a month stay. Despite all the activity nearby we could not hear what was going on outside because of the great sound proof windows. We loved Spain and would definitely recommend staying in this flat.

Fun in Barcelona

We found the Sant Marti property to be good for our family of 5. The neighborhood was safe and it was easy to hail a cab at the taxi stand about one block away from the apartment (even at 6AM on a Sunday morning when we were on the way to the airport). We found the amenities on the Rambla to be superb and availed ourselves of the wine store, fruit/vegetable market, and fish store. This gave us a true feeling for how Barcelona lives and not just the typical tourist experience you get in other parts of the city. That said, since this was our first trip to Barcelona we didn't realize how far out this neighborhood is from the main city center. We like to walk a lot on our vacations and it was a solid 35-40 minute walk from this apartment to the Gothic or El Born neighborhoods. While easily accessible by cab or public transportation, this is not a location where you can just walk out your door and be in the middle of the city. Keep that in mind if that is an important factor for you.

Rambla del Poblenou is one of the most enchanting commercial Boulevards of Barcelona. Its nice cozy cafes and nice restaurants where to have al fresco lunch or dinner makes this avenue a fantastic place to pass your vacation. Its very close to the Old town but you won't feel as crowded with tourists here. This nice Boulevard has lots of delicatessen shops, nice fruit stores and organic markets.

Its a pleasure to walk down la Rambla to the beach promenade. You can eat Paella relaxed at one of its nice restaurants and see the real Barcelona way of live.
