Don’t be fooled by the name. Aspenglow is defined as “a reddish glow seen near sunset or sunrise on the summits of mountains.” And no place is this atmospheric experience more evident than at Aspenglow Chalet in Breckenridge. Don’t believe us? One peek out your soaring floor-to-ceiling windows ought to do the trick. Get an even closer look by hopping in your soothing outdoor hot tub at dawn or dusk. (It’s right outside on your sprawling deck.) Yes, the views from the 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath hillside retreat boast brilliant sight lines to the mountains from virtually every angle. And you’ll want to explore each and every one of them during your stay.
But first, let’s explore all the sophisticated elegance that’s on display inside. You’ll want to begin in the main living space on the first floor, as this will be undoubtedly where most of your memories are made. The sky-high ceilings should be echoing with laughter in no time. Just get a toasty fire going in the fireplace, grab a seat in an authentic log chair or on the inviting couch, and let the uncontrollable giggles begin. Once you’ve laughed up a hearty appetite, continue the conversation over a delicious gourmet meal prepared from your overly stocked kitchen. The dining area can easily seat twelve, with three more at the breakfast bar. Bon appétit!
Once everyone’s properly nourished, you’ll want to head down to the ground floor where you’ll find a modern movie and game room that should easily fit all your indoor entertainment needs. Also on the ground floor are two varying bedrooms. From a queen-sized bed to a series of custom twins and rustic bunk beds for the kids, you’ll have no problem accommodating guests of all ages down here. For a more high-end sleeping experience, you’ll need to wind your way up the elegant staircase to the second and third floors. It is here you’ll find not one but two master bedrooms, complete with their king beds and convenient en-suite bathrooms. And the fifth bedroom, with extra-long twin beds (comfortable for adults or children) and its own bathroom just outside its door, is on the top floor as well. Perfect for families that want to always keep the kids close by.
But the true star of course, is all that awaits you in that fresh mountain air. So be sure to head out to your expansive slope-view deck. Relax in one of the many chairs or the roomy hot tub. And just unwind and enjoy your well-earned view. Because when you stay at Aspenglow Chalet, the mountains won’t be the only thing glowing.
I just wanted to let you know that our Thanksgiving weekend stay at Aspen Glow was very enjoyable. The home is gorgeous and we were very comfortable. And, it was a pleasure working with your company. The whole process worked very well.
We spent 7 fabulous days and nights at Aspenglow! The house is amazing and easily fit our 4 families (11 people). There was plenty of space and we never felt we were on top of one another. It was an easy walk into Breck and a short drive to the slopes. The hot tub was a big hit after hitting the slopes. We found the house had all the ammenities we needed to relax enjoy our vacation. We would highly recommend Aspenglow and will definitely return in the future.
Beautiful and breathtaking views are an understatement. This was our home away from home for 7 days in Breck and we couldn't have better things to say regarding this beautiful home. The living room is so comfortable and our families spent nights cozied up relaxing after long days of skiing and snowmobiling! The kitchen is flawless and there is a huge table to accommodate many! The rooms, furniture, linens etc. exceeded all of our expectations. The master...just wow! The home is close to town and the Invited Home staff was perfect - not to mention the process was SIMPLE!
I would hands down recommend this home to anyone - did I mention they have old school games, a movie theatre screen, and a pool table? It really was perfect and we will be back!
Per my review, I would give this home 4.8 stars. There were some minor issues with the home that we found to be small issues, but still could be avoided with easy maintenance. The appliances in the kitchen were broke when we arrived (Top rack in the dishwasher was broke and caused a few glasses to break, top oven didn't heat correctly for food to be cooked.
As for my families stay, we absolutely loved the location and home. We had a great experience here and thought that the house was incredibly built. The views were breath-taking and very easy to walk to and from main street.
Amazing home, totally satisfied.
The property is lovely. Large deck and hot tub, quiet neighborhood. Huge house with plenty of room for small group conversations or everyone around the large island and kitchen table. Bedrooms and beds were nice and comfy. Plenty of bathrooms. The property is as described.
Yes, there are a lot of stairs. No matter where you go in this house you will have to use stairs. The two bedrooms in the "basement" or lower floor share a rather small bathroom. The main floor has a foyer, kitchen, eating area, and large living room leading to the large deck. Once you ascend the main staircase, you will come to the master bedroom with beautiful views, large walk-in closet, and enormous bathroom. Then, you have to climb another set of stairs to get to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the top floor.
Yes, it can get quite warm in the house, especially the upper floors, due to the massive windows that provide great views. Lowering the blinds in the morning helps, but it will still be warm in the house. The basement is always cool.
While the house is very nice, I was disappointed with the extent of maintenance it needs. A number of the cabinet doors in the kitchen had either broken hinges or near broken. In addition, several windows were missing screens or would not open/close properly. For the price and opulence of the house, these would be simple repairs to make and would add value to the experience.
Great place, was represented accurately in description and the service was very responsive to a couple minor maintenance requests. Would stay again.
