This was a beautiful home. Lots of room, very clean and comfortable. Owners were very accommodating with our travel plans.
Stayed for a weekend with a large group and had the house was great. Lots of space, very cool furnishings, and a comfortable place to be with friends. The best part is the outdoor space - the front porch, back patio and plenty of grass to throw a ball around or enjoy a fire in the fire pit.
The setting is really beautiful - far enough in the country to feel like you're isolated, but close enough to Louisville to get into town quickly.
My family of 4 from Nashville and our friend's family of 5 from Oregon stayed here and had a great time. The home is well-furnished, the beds were really comfortable and the outside was perfect for the kids. We were able to visit with the chicks and goats on the property and the kids loved getting the fresh eggs out of the chicken coop! The location was quiet and peaceful, yet close to many outdoor activities and close to downtown. I will definitely be recommending this home to friends.
A small group of us decided on this house for a random weekend away. The house itself is spacious, well furnished, clean, and vey comfortable. A really nice kitchen and 60 inch smart TV are bonuses. The property is huge and there's tons of space to run around. We spent most of our time at the fire pit. For the price, this is one of the most generously furnished and well-maintained rental properties I've ever stayed in. It's an easy drive to downtown. There's also a nice Kroger and Starbucks less than 10 minutes away.
Cell phone service is spotty for phone calls. None of us (ATT and Verizon) had issues with sending text messages and emails.
Ben and Stacy were very responsive and have a great property. I would highly recommend this for anyone.
The home and property were a good fit for our two families traveling together. The wooded area surrounding the home was a great place for 4 boys to play. Everything inside was clean when we arrived. It was unusual to not have any closet or drawer space in any of the bedrooms. The living room and kitchen areas met our needs. This is a great location for the Bourbon Trail, Churchill Downs, and the Louisville Slugger and other museums. The home was also pet friendly which was a must for us. We would travel and stay here again!
