In the heart of the Sandy Lane Estate, Klairan is nestled within over an acre and a half of lush tropical gardens. Overlooking the 3rd fairway of the Old Nine golf course at Sandy Lane, there are also graceful views of the coast and of the Caribbean Sea. A special favorite of golfers, the Old Nine’s tight tree-lined fairways and small greens make it both welcoming and challenging. Guests enjoy access to the Sandy Lane Property Owners’ beach adjacent to the Sandy Lane Hotel, approximately five minutes away by car. Dining can be casual in the pool gazebo, or more formal in the tasteful dining room which opens onto the pool deck. The living area opens through French doors to covered outdoor living and the expansive pool deck. Clean white wicker, soaring ceilings and colorful accents add to the fresh tropical feel. Eight guests may be accommodated. The four bedrooms each have air-conditioning, ceiling fan, and private en-suite bathroom. One bedroom is located in the main house, the remaining three in the attached pavilion. Three of the bedrooms overlook the pool and open to verandas. With a staff including a cook, butler, maid, laundress, and gardener, Klairan makes for a restful tropical escape in the exclusive Sandy Lane estates on the west coast of Barbados.
The experience at Klairan was world class. We were really blown away by the experience at Klairan, in particular the quality of the property and the expertise and graciousness of Terry, the butler. He really brought the whole trip and stay into another stratosphere.
