This cozy, newly renovated apartment lies in the heart of Prague just meters from the National Museum and a short walk to the main historic sightseeing points. Spacious and tasteful furnishings make this an ideal apartment for a couple or group of 4 with a maximum possibility to accommodate 6 people. The separate living room (another fold out courch) and kitchen has a lot of light and the west facing windows offer stunning views to the Museum, which is beautifully lit up at night. In both living room and bedroom there are amazing original pieces of antique furniture which in combination with modern art and other furnishings make a great blend of romantic history and contemporary Prague.
The apartment boasts all necessary amenities including fully equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, stove with oven, toaster, kettle, washing machine, massage shower, satellite flat screen TV, radio / CD mini system, DVD player and high-speed internet.
The spectacular turn-of-the century building has been recently renovated with new elevator, original features and modern security entrance with surveillance cameras.
The area itself is popular with visitors as it’s easily accessible to all major landmarks by foot (1 minutes to Wenceslas square and 6 minutes to the famous Astronomical clock at Old Town square). Public transportation links are superb with easy access to the airport (45 minutes), train (5 minutes by foot to the Main train station) and both metro (Muzeum stop, line A/C, is 1 min. away) and trams.
There are many good restaurants, bars, clubs and parks in the area, which is considered to be one of the safest districts in Prague.
We pride ourselves on excellent service and will do everything in our power to insure a smooth and relaxing visit to Prague. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this property or the others which I manage.
This apartment has excellent light and most importantly perfect quiet as the bedroom faces onto a tree filled courtyard.
We were met at the airport on time and were driven to the apartment by a bilingual and informative gentlemen. This place was fabulous .Everthing that was stated in the descrption was accurate Extreamly convenient to transportation and museums, theatre and restaurants. Wonderful views, peaceful and quiet at night. The bathing facilities were top notch and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook a meal with. We loved this place and couldn't say enought wonderful things about our experience. Hope to stay there again in the future. Alenka
This apartment has a lovely feel and is well situated close to public transport, supermarkets etc. The metro is very easy to use and is fast and efficient. The owner was available when required & organised a driver to pick us up from the airport.
Superb mother/aughter trip late August / early September 2016. We had a very pleasant 10 day stay in this apartment. Comfortable and large, perfect for several days in Prague. Identical to the photos, you will not be disappointed! We highly recommend it.
Despite very hot days, we were well at night in the apartment. The large windows lead into a very quiet inner courtyard, so you can open them greatly to sleep. I would suggest new pans because very worned, but otherwise, the kitchen is well equipped for lunches. The bathroom is nice, very clean and practical. The shower runs a little after two showers on, so do think of putting a small towel on the floor. The owner Petra was courteous, helpful and available. She answered all our questions or concerns very quickly. Thanks to her, we had that peace of mind! The driver service upon arrival is very good. However, for the departure, we had a little fright due to the delay of our driver. And at 600 CZ ... I suggest you just opt for an AAA Taxi.
Some tricks: very accessible area. 20 minutes from the Old Square via Wenceslas Square. By metro, at the station Muzuem (you go up in the park) or TRAM. The TRAM 22 which goes to the Castle of Prague and in Mala Strana is convenient and pleasant. I suggest you get a map of the TRAM as soon as you arrive (we also left it in the apartment!). To return to the apartment, disembark at I.P Pavlova (metro or tram) and walk towards the flower kiosk. You will see the dome of the National Museum on your left, this is your landmark. Cross the street. Go down two corners and you have arrived! On this way you will come across a convenient Tesco grocery store, open until quite late).
Do not miss the Vysherad Castle just two metro stops from the apartment! The walk along the ramparts as well as the visit of the casemates (where are the original statues of the Charles Bridge are) are amazing and unique.
Very clean. Good location. Property a good value.
We had an excellent week's stay at this charming, spacious and well equipped apartment. The antique furniture added to the beauty. Centrally located at a stone's throw from the museum, city centre, tram and metro stops as well as main railway station. It made our vacation extra special.
Me and my girlfriend had recently stayed here while holidaying in Prague for a week in November and can say that we had a great time and would definitely reccomend this property and owner again to people! We would come again if we found ourselves visiting this great city again. Firstly Petra the owner is very friendly and very organised with the booking meaning that we had nothing to worry about leading up to our stay and she is very quick at replying to you if you have any questions. The property itself is really amazing and has obviously had some effort gone into it as it has some great features such as a really comfortable (and big) bed, a powerful shower and all the storage space needed for any period of stay, the building and also the area is very safe and we really felt that we were in a typical Czech neighbourhood which was a great experience! Either side of the building are some good bars and the great resturant called Deminika palace is only a minute walk away, while going to these nearby places we really felt like we were emerged in to Prague as we hardly saw any other tourists as the area is full of locals which gave us a great experience we had hoped for and it is still easy enough to get by using English. Prague as a city itself is cultural and beautiful as the typical tourist sites like the old tow square and Charles bridge on Vlatava is only a short (20 mins) away but only a few minutes by using the close by metro stations, which is cheap and a great experience of its own and it's really easy to use. We would really recommend visiting the city and staying here as we had an amazing time experiencing a new place that isn't your average more westernised city. The only thing we would like to let the owner know is that there is a slightly loose floor tile that we noticed in the apartments hall way on the kitchen side and a shower door is missing a handle but I'm sure Petra can sort these very small issues out as soon as possible. Thanks for a great place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed it.
