we've been coming out to utah for the last 5 years when we decided to buy a home here. We are avid snowsport enthusiests and have traveled all of north america with our 2 young kids skiing and boarding. Theres something about the Ogden valley that pulls you in. It is by far one of the most beautiful places on earth, regardless of what season you choose to visit.

Our home is comfortable luxury. This is our second home and we want you to feel just as comfortable and relaxed in it as we do. We went looking at a bunch of properties to buy but decided to build when we realized the other homes in the valley, while nice, could never give us that feeling of a luxury get- away in paradise.
world class powder skiing, cat skiing, snowmobiling hiking, biking(mountain and road), triathlon, swiming, boating, 4 wheeling, hunting, and whatever outdoor activity you can dream up, all with postcard views.
The home is lovely. The kitchen area is well organized with a large pantry. The master bedroom and master bathroom are large and spacious. The remaining bedrooms are quite small. One of the smaller bedrooms does not have a closet, so there is no place to put luggage, etc. The bedding and towels smelled musty, as if they had lain in the washer too long before being dried. There was only one mat at the garage entrance on which to place wet shoes, etc. There are two other entrances to the home and rugs/mats would have been helpful in trying to keep the floors dry. We have stayed at other facilities that have had more cooking utensils available. There was no small hand mixer, for example, which would be nice to have on hand. Parking was very difficult. The driveway is too short to even park a vehicle in and the streets are narrow enough to preclude street parking. For four families with four vehicles, we had difficulty finding parking. In fact, one of the vehicles was struck by a hit and run driver which dampened the holiday for us. There were no instructions from the property owner recommending where to park. The garage was also very small and required some interesting navigation to get into and still be able to unload or load with the garage door down. We had to load and unload with the garage door open during a snowstorm. There also needs to be another trash can. We totally filled the one trash can during our stay and had to place garbage on top of it because there was only one. For a vacation home of that size, two trash cans are a must. The laundry facilities were great, the fireplace in the living room was cozy and nice, but the large family room in the basement was cold the entire time we were there, as were the basement bedrooms. Space heaters could be made available for the basement area. Even closing all the upstairs vents did not keep the downstairs warm enough. We often times were too hot upstairs trying to make the basement area warmer. We also found numerous items under beds and under the couches which indicated to us that the property manager may not be keeping the facility as clean as it should be. We ran out of ceramic stove top cleaner, too, so the cleaning supplies were not being monitored as they should have been. Overall, the home is beautifully furnished, and has some great potential but we did not have as positive an experience as we did two years ago when we stayed at a different facility.
We rented this home in Eden for a Labor Day Weekend with our family. There were 11 of us - mom and dad, two married kids and their spouses, our 18 month old grandson, and our four other children aged 17 to 23. The house is plenty big but what I liked about it most was the large common areas - one upstairs without any TV's and one downstairs with a nice large TV and a pool table and foosball table. Another big plus is the large dining table that seats 8 with the bar next to it that seats another 4 if needed ... we had some nice family dinners. The kitchen is well equipped with just about everything we needed to cook and eat. The bedroom arrangement is great with a huge master upstairs and two other Queen bedrooms and a queen bedroom, a two twin bedroom, and a twin over double with a trundle bedroom downstairs. Three bathrooms worked out okay. The house is comfortable, beautiful, and tastefully decorated with fun art from the area. I was a little concerned because the price was lower than others ... I thought it might not be as nice as it looked online ... but we were pleasantly surprised - everything was as stated on VRBO and even better. The only possible complaint would be the wifi ... it's too spotty to stream movies so bring what you want to watch. We ended up downloading the movie we wanted to watch and watching the next night. Not a huge deal because we didn't go on vacation to surf the internet anyway. Be prepared for the smallest driveway you've ever seen - no room to park any vehicles there. We got our yukon xl and a small car in the garage and our other two vehicles were parked just behind the house on a dead end road.
The neighborhood is very nice and the whole valley is beautiful. We've decided it's our new get-away location and we'd love to rent this home again. We went to dinner at The Huntington BBQ Company - oh my what a great place. Go early because when they run out of food, they run out of food. We were some of the last to order and the owner ended up bringing us everything they had left - he was so nice. The BBQ is just like the BBQ we loved in San Antonio, Texas. Great atmosphere, great food, and a great owner! We also went to Snow Basin and rode the gondola up the mountain, hiked around and then rode it down - so much fun. We spent an afternoon at Pineview reservoir which was also a lot of fun.
I would highly reccomend this vacation rental to anyone - I've already told my co-workers and extended family.
Beautiful house that didn't lack anything. Convenient and close to town, as well as the resorts. Well maintained home in a nice neighborhood. The home had a brand new feel to it and was very spacious. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you.
We loved how beautiful and welcoming the home was. It was perfect in every way! Plenty of room for our Christmas get-away with our children and grandchildren. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were great to work with. Some of the kids went skiing, while some went sledding. We had lunch at The Mad Moose. We called our order in the day before and they had the table set up and the food was ready when we got there. It was delicious! Everything was wonderful! We're looking forward to staying here again! We will recommend this home to others.
Home was almost brand new and worked perfectly for our group of dad's and adult sons. We had everything we needed . The home was outfitted nicely, was spotless and the owner was very easy to work with. We have skied Ogden Valley for many many years and usually rent a large home. This was one of the best.
Our group was in agreement that a tv in the upstairs living room would have been nice and a cd player or some other way to play some tunes after a long day of skiing would have been great as well. We survived magnificently however and had a splendid time.
We really liked this home and would be grateful to stay there again.
The home sits in the Beautiful Ogden valley in the Wasatch-Cache National forest. Just minutes from 2 world class ski resorts, Powder mountain, and Snowbasin, with 6 other world class ski resorts with-in an hour drive.
