The loft is built within an 1800's post and beam barn. With it's open floor plan and exposed beams it is a great place to stretch out and relax. We have 2 private bedrooms, a pull out couch a futon and an additional futon mattress that can be put anywhere. If snowmobiling is you thing we have trails located about 4 miles away!
Our space is located just outside Greenwich village. Greenwich has your typical stores like Hannaford, Mcdonalds and also a handful of privately owned restaurants like One,One,One and Dish Bistro and a newly opened Argyle Brewery. We are located 18 miles from the Saratoga race track. Monthly leases are also available
We had a great stay! The loft was charming, clean, and well maintained! The owners were extremely accommodating, but not in any way over bearing. We would highly recommend staying here!
Marc was wonderful and accommodated us with a short time line request
Brownie's were awesome! Place is very comfy and well worth a visit if you are in the area
The location is beautiful and amazingly quiet. The loft is cozy and comfortable with enjoyably, quirky touches and a great view. Plenty of room for two couples, plus everything we needed to "keep house" for a couple days. Marc's welcoming touch of brownies was much appreciated. It was an easy (and lovely) ride to Glen's Falls and Lake George. But coming home to the comparative quiet of Argyle and surroundings was even better. Nearby towns had hopping restaurants with local fare and charming antique/consignment shops. We didn't get a chance to meet the Marc, but he was easy to reach and very responsive by email and phone. He made sure that everything was clear and accessible--he even mailed us a piece of equipment that we mistakenly left behind! If you are coming to this area, Marc's loft is an excellent place for friends or a family to stay, away from the crowds in Saratoga and Lake George, but close enough.
Stayed with my husband and kids and everyone loved the ample choice of beds/futons, the open and fun feeling of the loft, and checking out the really cool recording studio downstairs (not part of the rental but Marc kindly gave us a tour). The kitchen was well stocked and the surroundings are beautiful farm lands. Lots of stars at night, very quiet and comfortable. It was a terrific and much less expensive option to staying in Saratoga Springs during high season. The racetrack is about 30 min away, which was a blast.
Stay was very nice, wit hsuper good brownies made for us at the arrival. Space is superb, only thing would be to upgrade the matresses
The property was as described, the hosts were available and helpful but not intrusive. The apartment is self contained and private in a converted barn. Of the two bedrooms, one is a regular bed and one is a futon, there are also two more futons in the large living space. The apartment was very clean, kitchen seemed functional, though we were not there long enough to cook.
Just two small suggestions: to provide the makings for coffee/tea in the apartment, and to put out comforters or blankets: we did find them, but had to hunt.
