Great winter ski getaway
This lovely house is only 5 minutes drive from Windham ski mountain. It is a very cozy place to stay. We have a family of 4 and there was a lot of space for us to move around.
The property is very secluded and quite. There is a long drive way, which was covered with snow. We have a mid-size SUV but still felt some difficulty driving in and out of the house.
Loved sitting outside and enjoying the fire pit. Bed was super comfortable
Perfect for us . We always travel with our dogs. It couldn’t have been more ideal. Just far enough away from town.
Cute house close to Windham and other Catskill locations
This is a cute house with plenty of room in the upstairs living room and very large downstairs family room. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfy. The upstairs gets lots of light and while the downstairs is a bit dark it is also cooler. The deck gives great views of the property and is stocked with chairs, tables, and umbrellas. The fire pit looked great though we didn't use it on the warm summer days we were visiting.
Amazing property ! Great, relaxing getaway!
Stayed at this beautiful property for 3 nights w/my family (including our dog) & we all loved it! The house is secluded but very close to main road & 5 min drive to center of Windham. We were able to do day trips to water park, Howe caverns & zip lining & also go into town for dinner. At night we enjoyed s’mores by the wonderful fire pit. We look forward to coming back again soon. Thank you Linda & Paul for allowing us to stay at your wonderful house.
Secluded and peaceful experience
We loved our stay in a Windham. We wanted quiet and seclusion and this fabulous round house at the top of the mountain gave us a much needed respite from the city.
We spent most of our time on the property - grilling, making s’mores at the fire pit and watching the most beautiful display of fireflies magic I’ve ever seen.
The house is clean and comfortable and had a nicely stocked kitchen with spices and cookware to make meals at home.
The downstairs is a large family room and was easily 20 degrees cooler than the upstairs where the bedrooms and kitchen are - important as we were there during the summer. Lovely deck overlooking the trees and large yard, too.
They also have a portable AC for the bedroom, one of two that each have king size beds. We didn’t use the AC as there was a lovely breeze coming in at night, but it’s good to have backup just in case.
And, perhaps best selling point, excellent WiFi and cell service as it’s at the top of the mountain.
We would definitely come back. Thank you!
