Situated in the hip and fashionable neighborhood near the Canal Saint Martin it will be easy to visit anything you want in Paris. Close to all the touristic areas and an extremely large choice of shops and restaurants right outside your door without the haste and the noise when you are indoors resting about an artistic and eclectic elegant decoration with a clean white backdrop. The living room and dining room areas are ideal to relax and gather together and share privileged moments in the city of lights.

The apartment comfortably sleeps 5 guests. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the guest room a queen size bed, and there is an additional bedroom room with a twin bed. There are 3 bathrooms, the master has an en suite shower. The living room and two of the other rooms open directly onto a large private outdoor garden terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast or soak up the sun in complete privacy, as the apartment is on the top floor of the building. Or you can wander through the chic upper Marais shops such as Isabel Marant, Colette, Merci, Mobilier 54. On the top floor of a lovely 3 story building, in a lovely area by the Canal Saint Martin- the apartment is very close to the Marais, in the eleventh arrondissement. Stroll down tree lined Boulevards to the best cafes, fine restaurants, unique shops and groceries in a friendly neighborhood atmosphere.It is a varied and engaging area. To the west lies the Place de la République, which is linked to the Place de la Bastille in the east, by the sweeping, tree-lined Boulevard Richard-Lenoir, with its lively markets and children's parks. The Place de la Bastille and the rue du Faubourg St Antoine are full of fashionable cafés, restaurants, and nightlife, and they also contain a range of boutiques and galleries. The Oberkampf district to the north is another popular area for nightlife. This district has emerged as one of the trendiest regions of Paris.

The character and charm of this apartment is the perfect complement to the delights of this 11th arrondissement neighborhood. Close to the Place de Vosge , lovely parks and tree lined streets, it is an easy walk to the Republique metro which is a major hub for most of the lines meaning fewer changes and easy access to all of your destinatons: Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Opera, Hotel de Ville, Chatelet as well as train stations to the airports. The area really does have an embarrassment of riches, and is home to many 'bests' in Paris- the Best couscous(Chez Omar), the best falafel, the best pastrami (Sasha Finkelstein), as well as wonderful childrens parks, flower shops, cafes, and the most unique and stylish boutiques in this lively, diverse & trendy locale. It will make you very happy to bring fresh flowers home to your lovely apartment after enjoying the pleasures of Paris. You might also bring pastries & jam to enjoy on the terrace in the morning.

Nice spot near Canal St. Martin/Republique

Well appointed, bright, airy house on the top floor of a renovated building. The bedrooms are roomy and the bathrooms are very clean. The place is newly renovated with very nice appliances and furnishings. Awesome neighborhood between the 10th and 11th with lots of great bars and restaurants.

There is some construction in the building as other units are rehabbed so there is machine noise during the day. The unit is on the top floor and does not have A/C, so if you plan on being in Paris on hot summer days (like we were), keep the curtains drawn or the place will get hot. The veranda is a nice respite from the Paris heat though and there is a nice breeze on it usually.

The caretaker is very nice and was very prompt in meeting us and checking in on us (she lives downstairs).

Light and airy haven

The flat doesn't have traditional French windows or parquet floors but more than makes up for it with a bright, light-filled, interior. The design is original and quirky while at the same time very practical with plenty of space for big egos. Our family of five loved it... and as it's fantastically quiet we all slept soundly every night.
