Walk to Brandons beach, Mount Gay rum centre, supermarket , and shops

Beach Nest Villas has been a labor of love and is tastefully decorated. Our location is only a 2 minute walk away from our breathtaking and beautiful beach. Our 3 bedroom villa sleeps six persons easily. We are only 8 minutes walk from a large Supermarket . A ten minutes walk can take you to our renowned Kensington Oval (near to where Rihanna) grew up and only 5 minutes walk to Mount Gay Visitors Centre. In addition, last but by no means least, fresh and lovely reef fish can be purchased (the contact numbers can be supplied on arrival). A car is recommended for easy transport to see other parts of the island. We have a car stationed at the villa as we do car rentals as well. There is easy access to the public transport system as the bus stop is about 10 minutes walk.

Hello my name is Thelma. I have lived on the island all my life. I grew up in the country, but this is where we first lived when my husband and I got married. It holds manny many special memories and I am sure you will enjoy staying in our villas.

Newly Renenovated Property tastefully decorated. Has been in the family all these years. The area is very popular as it is close to many amenities. Just google 'Brandons Beach Barbados photos' to see first hand pictures of the nearby beach. It is a stunningly beautiful beach, with no hotels!!

This is a very relaxing property. Once you are on the inside you may not want to come out, but the beach will entice you to do so.

The property was located really close to a local beach, had three adequate bedrooms and two bathroom

We spend from Dec 26th to Jan 2nd 2017, great place to spend New Years. Location is quiet, with a small garden, saw a large monkey one morning while drinking my coffee. If you want to visit night clubs, my sons had no problem getting taxi. The local beach is v. pretty, to the left is the cruise terminals, and a small bar on Brandon's beach. Renting a car is a must. Local supermarket was good, lots of British chocs there. Ostins fish marked on a Friday is a must, and Harrison Caves. Kitchen is fine, needs new cooking pots. Bought two new mugs to add to kitchen. Liked the house and decor, bathrooms v. nice and clean. We were there when island at its busiest and parking in Bridgetown difficult, so loved the quiet beach to walk to. Recommend taking a catamaran cruise, we sailed right past our beach!

Great relaxing stay!

My family and I (2 adults, 3 children) stayed at the Beach Nest for 10 days in February. We we all very pleased with the unit we stayed in (the larger one), the location of the house and especially with the way Carlton (manager) communicates from initial contact all the way through our stay including the day of our departure.

The pictures of the house and the surroundings show things exactly the way they are. No surprises at all! The only thing that could make that impression any better would be if one could feel the climate and the sounds. The grounds are well kept, and there are several fruit trees both on and just outsidere the property. We discovered the green monkeys that are in the area (do a Google search for the history of these monkeys), and experienced the fireflies during the evenings after sunset.

Location is everything! The path to the beach is "right there" and it's not more than 3 minutes walking at a slow pace until your feet are in the sand. The beach itself is original Carribbean, meaning no private areas (all Barbados beaches are public), no highrise hotels and was very clean. The beach bar (Weiser's), in the other direction from the house (just down the street) is also worth playing a visit or two. Great cocktails, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. The local grocery store (Carlton - but not the same as the manager) is about 8 minutes away by foot. It is well stocked, US style, just smaller. You get both local groceries as well as imported stuff there. The dollarbuses also stop here, and run to downtown Bridgetown. An experience in itself!

To cut it short, this was a great place to stay! We enjoyed everything and couldn't find any dislikes at all. We would recommend the Beach Nest to families, families with children, all ages, group of friends and so on. The ones we would not recommend it to is those who are looking for a hotel type holiday, as this is a selfcatering place.

Thanks again, Carlton, for having us! It was a pleasure meeting you, and we'll keep in touch. Barbados was great, and we look forward to exploring more of the island when the kids are a bit older.

Wonderful

Great property.. a quick 1 minute walk from the beach. Long, stretch of beautiful beach which also houses a restaurant if you want a quick, local meal. I stayed in Villa 2, cozy, comfortable setting. Was able to sit in the patio, especially on mornings, with my brewed coffee and enjoy some light reading. Amenities available at your fingertips. Well landscaped areas as well as,a large outdoor space for the vehicles or playing a little sport. I like the option of being able to grill on the outside in the evenings or using the stove for a meal.... adds some variety. Quiet, idyllic neighborhood, close to Bridgetown, supermarket and other attractions.

WOW….its perfect

The house is in a great location. The house is a 5 minute walk away from the beach. The bus is close by that takes you anywhere you need to go. The grill was perfect to so we cooked out. The house was very clean and if we had any problems the owner was very helpful. The house is perfect for a group
