Directly On Sapphire Beach, Unit E308 offers Spectacular Views overlooking St.John and the British Virgin Islands. The exterior and interior of this condo have been completely renovated, refurbished and redecorated. The property has a Marina, Water Sports Rentals, White Sand Beach, Swimming Area, Coral Reefs, an Oceanfront Pool and a Beach Bar. This Ideal East End Location is less than a mile from Red Hook with Restaurants, Harbor and Ferry Service to other Islands. Our Condo is on the third and fourth floors at the Top of Building E, at the quiet end of the Beach, convenient to the Marina. Building E faces East allowing for lovely Breezes and Gorgeous Views. From this location, so close to the water, you have an unobstructed, panoramic View of the Sapphire Blue Caribbean Sea and Colorful, ever-changing Skies from Sunrise to Sunset. St. John and the British Virgin Islands form the backdrop and provide dots of Sparkling Lights at night. The Boats coming in and out of the Marina are beautiful and calming.

With its two floors, our condo offers comfort and flexibility for couples or families. Both levels of this condo have Full Bathrooms with Showers and hair dryers, Sleeping and Living space, and Balconies with Tables and seating. The Full Kitchen is equipped with Stainless Steel Appliances, Glass Cooktop, Cookware, Dinnerware and Electric Grill. Food and Drinks can be enjoyed at the Indoor Table, on the Balcony or at the Beachfront Bar. Quiet, Top Floor Workspace with a Toshiba computer and unlimited WiFi is provided for work or socializing without giving up the View. The main floor has a 50" Sony Smart TV with Netflix Streaming Video, a Sony Play Station 3 with Games for all ages, a DVD Player with a large selection of Movies and a Bose SoundTouch Music system. The Bedroom Suite on the top floor has a 42" Toshiba, LCD, Flat-Screen TV, Sony Play Station 2 with Games, Netflix, and a Sony DVD Player with Movies. For your sleeping comfort are a King size Bed upstairs, featuring a Therapedic Memory Foam Pillow Top Mattress and Queen size Sofa Beds on both 3rd and 4th floors that are new, highly rated, easy to use models.

Snorkeling is great fun at the Coral Reef in Crystal Clear water in front of E Building. High Quality Snorkel Gear for 6, in two sizes, is stored in this condo for guest use. Sea Grape trees, along the water's edge, provide shade allowing for hours of relaxation while enjoying the sound of the waves and the gentle breezes. Beach Loungers are provided for all guests. Adjacent to Building E, the Sapphire Beach Marina offers Boating, Diving, Snorkeling, Sailing, Island Hopping and Fishing trips to meet all purposes of visitors.

Sapphire Beach Bar, oceanfront on Sapphire Beach, serves drinks, salads and sandwiches. Their Sunday Fundays often include live music. VI Slice, a restaurant by the Sapphire Village pool, is easily walkable from Building E. Less than a mile away is the village of Red Hook where you will find most anything you want or need plus the American Yacht Harbor with Ferry service to St. John (pedestrian and auto) and the British Virgin Islands.

St. Thomas has many attractions and activities within easy driving distance such as Mahogany Run Golf Course, Magens Bay, Coral World, Zip-Lining, Hiking Trails, Sky-Lift, Botanical Gardens, Drake's Seat, and more. Colorful downtown Charlotte Amalie, the capital city, is a 25-minute drive and offers duty-free shopping. A 20 minute ferry ride will take you to St. John and a 30-minute seaplane flight will take you to historic St. Croix.

St. Thomas’ temperatures hover around a pleasant 80 degrees all year. You can adjust your indoor temperature with thermostats on both levels and Central Air Conditioning/ Heat. Ceiling fans and ocean breezes add to the comfort of tropical living. The island topography is hilly and absolutely gorgeous with lush foliage and ocean views from almost everywhere.

No passport is needed by American citizens to visit the US Virgin Islands of St.Thomas, St.John, Water Island or St.Croix. Bring one if you want to make side trips to the British Virgin Islands of Tortola, Jost van Dyke or Virgin Gorda.

About Mary Logue

My husband and I fell in love with the ocean when we moved from Minnesota to Miami upon graduating from University. We now enjoy our life in North Carolina between the mountains and the beach. We first vacationed as a family in St. Thomas at the suggestion of our son, Eric, who is certified in deep sea diving, in the spring of 1999. It was so incredibly beautiful and enjoyable that we purchased a villa at the lovely Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina. I have since retired from teaching art and my husband has retired to Professor Emeritus status at Duke Medical Center here in Durham, NC. Eric now owns Logue Healthcare Consulting Company and is living in Atlanta, GA, enjoying direct flights to STT. Our other son, Sean, a manager of software engineering at IBM in NC, has joined in this wonderful experience. We all make regular trips to Sapphire Beach together and with friends. We like to celebrate our anniversary there and watch the fireworks being set off at St. John on New Year's Eve from our balcony. It remains the best get-away ever!

Why Mary Logue chose East End

St.Thomas is that rare place that we enjoy returning to again and again without ever running out of interesting and enjoyable things to do and see. Sapphire Beach is conveniently located for access to shopping, restaurants and other Islands. We have explored St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix, Tortola, Virgin Gorda plus the caves of Norman Island and love all of the Virgin Islands. We always are happy to return to the incredibly beautiful Sapphire Beach. It's a wonderful place to begin and end each day.

What makes this condo unique

We love our top floor condo in E building for its spectacular view, ocean breezes, and quiet, calming environment. This spacious, well-designed, two-story condo affords us flexibility and comfort. One can sleep or work upstairs while another watches TV or enjoys an early morning cup of coffee downstairs. There is no one else above or below the bedroom and no one else looking down on our balconies or looking in from the beach. Building E is at the quiet end of the beach and is convenient to the marina, laundry facility, pool, coral reef, and restaurant.

Mary's condo is so beautiful and comfortable and in such a beautiful location you just may not want to ever leave! It is right on sapphire beach which we thought was the best beach on all of st Thomas! It is a great snorkeling spot and close to a marina for any water activities you may want. The condo is amazing and is in a building closer to the marina and in a quieter spot. The sunrise is not to be missed even on cloudy days. Per Mary's suggestion we did ended up renting a car and we were glad we did as the food option at sapphire is limited to two locations and even though they do offer good food we loved the freedom of having a car to go out for dinner and for beach hopping and driving on the left was fun! We also took the ferry ride to St. John and rented a jeep there and drove around the entire island which was amazing especially snorkeling at trunk bay! I strongly recommend that for anyone debating whether to do a guided tour at St. John or doing it on your own. My tip is get to trunk bay early before the tourists from cruise ships get there because by the time it was noon snorkeling would have been impossible that's how crowded it gets! All in all I will most definitely book Mary's condo again and I can't wait to go back! Thanks Mary for being such an amazing host!

Mary's place is an excellant location for your first or future trips!

This is our second time to stay at Mary's place. It's hard to go somewhere else. Not only is the view beautiful but it's strategic in location. Red Hook is right around the corner which has local eateries, shopping and the ferry to St. John. There is a harbour right ot the door that has multipule excursions from fishing to trips to Tortola and beyond.

This condo is amazing as it has the most wonderful views both day and night. Watch the sun or even more, moon rise over St. John.

The condo has anything and everything you need. From snorkle gear to super glue. Grab some groceries and snacks from Moes Grocery right around the corner.

The infamous Sapphire Beach is around the corner as well. Absolutely beautiful and surreal.

Word of caution when visiting beaches on St. Thomas. Be concious of cruise ship days, yhe beaches on St. Thomas become conjested and crowded. Our suggestion, take the ferry in Red Hook over to St. John and head to the East End for some relaxation.

Perfection once again

We stayed in Mary's condo for a second time because we were so delighted the first time. We brought along my two sisters so we had 4 adults. The condo accommodated us just fine. Mary has anticipated every need from snorkel equipment to movies. The view is spectacular and the condo is cozy...what more could you want?

Maybe we'll see you again next year!

We will be back as everything was more than expected.

We stayed in E308 of building E which is a quiet and relaxing spot. The beach is excellent with soft sand and shading trees. Great snorkeling right off the beach. The condo owners, Mary and Patrick Logue provided all the information needed for the condo as well as advice on where to go and what to do in the area. Was a wonderful stress free week with our 3 boys. Will plan to come back again. Highly recommend Saphire Beach and condo E308.

Condo was beautiful with stunning ocean views ! You will not be disappointed with this condo, everything was decorated very nicely and tastefully. Best unit at Sapphire Beah

Sapphire Beach is a beautiful location and a perfect place to unwind. Renting there (which we have done for more than 8 years in a row along with 3 other couples) can be hit and miss. We learned of Mary's unit a couple of years ago and won't rent any other! We even stayed one night at the Ritz to wait until her place was available to join our friends at Sapphire Beach. It is well appointed, comfortable, has everything you would need and Kathleen (her manager) keeps the place spotless with clean towels replaced every day. If something come sup or you have a question, Mary responds within minutes. We will be back again next January!

Another Great Vacation

I found this condo last January and we chose to book a week again this year. Sapphire Beach is beautiful and the views from this condo might well be the most beautiful on the island. The condo is nicely furnished, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. It takes no time to settle in and relax. I sleep better there than at home and love waking up to a gorgeous sunrise. The Sapphire Beach Bar is convenient for a light lunch and had live music on Sunday afternoon. Having the Marina beside the building is a plus. We like to watch for the fishing boats to come in to get fresh fish at the dock. It's also beautiful from the balconies and convenient for activities. This may become an annual trip for us. It was a wonderful break from a hectic schedule and a cold winter. Lynn

Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina is a condominium complex directly on Sapphire Beach conveniently located at the East End of St.Thomas. Sapphire Beach has two coral reefs for snorkeling, a swimming area, a sandy beach lined with Sea Grape Trees and Palms plus a Beach Bar for drinks and light fare. A Dive Shop on the beach has Water Sports Equipment for Rental. The Sapphire Marina, adjacent to Building E, has numerous excursions available for deep sea fishing, snorkeling, dinner cruises, island hopping and sailing. Red Hook is less than one mile away where Auto and Pedestrian Ferries leave from American Yacht Harbor to neighboring US and British Virgin Islands. Numerous restaurants with varied decor and menu choices, including Caribbean lobster, are just minutes away. Mahogany Run Golf Course, a 15-minute drive, is world-renowned and Coral World, an attraction for all ages, is nearby. Taxis are readily available but visitors often enjoy exploring the island by driving. Rental cars are easily gotten at the airport with advance reservations. A rental car company, All Around Car Rentals, is located at the entrance drive to Sapphire Beach.
