Great house and location!
We enjoyed our stay at your house very much. The granddaughters loved playing in the sandy driveway and the lovely backyard. The house was well equipped, clean and neat. The beaches were a short walk and perfect for the kids. Our 2 year old granddaughter everyday this week woke up saying she wants go to her other house with the beach!!
Thank you for staying at our house. We would love to have you back!
If you want to experience New England, this is the house! It is exactly as advertised - clean, cozy and charming. We enjoyed the architecture and small touches that a house on the National Historic Register provides, like a brass name plate of a previous owner on the door. The location gives you easy access to everything on the Cape as well as The National Whaling Museum in Bedford, which was a highlight for us. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We look forward to visiting again!
Ideal location for those who enjoy peace & quiet
There are many sides to Cape Cod, and for us - a quiet spot near the beach with charm and elbow room - is the best. This house was lovely and comfortable, nicely furnished, with plenty of windows and just the right modern conveniences to make a casual vacation enjoyable.
Three small beaches are within a short walk, bike ride or drive, and even in high season they were never crowded.
The house was equipped with virtually everything we needed, from pots & pans to beach towels and chairs to board games and jigsaw puzzles.
All in all a delightful place to stay.
Thanks for staying at our house. Happy to hear you enjoyed the house and Cotuit! Come back any time!
We totally enjoyed staying at this house. It’s roomy and yet is cozy with a lot of charm. Built in 1878, the historical value is very interesting. It was immaculately clean and well stocked. Betsy was incredible and very in tune to our needs. A sandy beach, called the Loop, is within walking distance. Highly recommend this location for your vacation to Cape Cod.
You were wonderful. Stay anytime!
Great location - plenty of room
We stayed in this home for three weeks - the location is an easy walk to two beaches, the town dock, library and KettleHo (KHO) the local's 'watering hole'. Cotuit is a great location - not touristy but not far from either Hyannis, Falmouth or great shopping at Masphee Commons. The beach pass allows entrance to all of Barnstables beaches. Our stay was a great way to end our summer.
lovely home and great quiet location
this is our second year at this home in the center of Cotuit, a small quiet town in the upper-mid Cape. we love the ease of walking to the local speciality/deli store, Loop Beach, Cape Cod Kettlers, and nature walks. This home is roomy and well stocked; no need to bring any necessities as all are provided. we are a small family of four but the house with its backyard and multiple living spaces on first floor could easily accommodate a family with young (or more) children.
Thanks for coming back, you are wonderful renters! Delighted you enjoy our home.
Easy walk to Loop Beach (life guards), Riley's Beach, the library, town dock, Post Office, Kettle-Ho Restaurant, town playground and golf course.
