This is a two bedroom apt located on the Belmont Shore Peninsula. 2 bed/1 bath

MONTHLY RENTALS ONLY-This is a two bedroom apt located on the Belmont Shore Peninsula. The map pin locater is not correct on this listing . I need to call VRBO customer service to change it and am traveling right now. This is one house from the bay and a street across to get to the beach board walk.

- this 2 bed/ 1 bath is UPSTAIRS on 62nd place 90803. The bright orange, teal, and soft yellows outline the deck walls and back area 2nd level deck for grilling and chilling. It is a very alive and relaxing feel. All appliances are stainless steel and kitchen is stocked. 1/2 block away called the BEACH, and one house from the Naples Bay. You are on the Bay side and across the street is the entire beautiful coastline which views the Queen Mary, Cruise ships as they come into port and the Long Beach Down town sky scrapers. The sunsets are to die for!!!

The cool, independent coffee shop and restaurants are a walk away ON 2nd St. All of the trendy and delicious cool, independent coffee shops, restaurants, business services, beach rentals are all very close. On 2nd St, there is also shopping and food choices, boutique shopping, art shops, burritos, sandwich-seekers, gourmet fair, or winery and breweries. It’s easy to spend hours on your iPad, computers gobbling free wifi. a stones throw from the beach and views of Yachts, sail boats, SUP paddlers and sunsets. We are 2 miles from downtown long beach and the convention center, Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, and convention Center. There are so many things to do in the beach community: Take Gondola ride throughout the romantic naples canals, wine tasting, children's parks on very corner, tennis courts, public pool, and walking paths. Belmont Shore has everything...and is 30 minutes from all OC-Disneyland, Laguna beach, Newport Coast, etc... WE are central to LA and OC and two hours north of San Diego. If you are a small party, looking for a romantic getaway, or even on a budge because we can sleep up to 6... make an inquiry. Great location... but improvements needed/ wish sleeping arrangement was better

Working with the owner of this property was great. She was very responsive and easy to work with.

The location is AMAZING!! Your are seriously 1 block from the marina beach/water & 1 block from the Pacific ocean. Plus if you walk about 10 minutes, you're right in the heart of Belmont Shores with great restaurants and night life. You cannot beat the location! Additionally the back patio area was really nice.

However, what was disappointing about this property was that we thought it could comfortably sleep 7 people The pics online make it seem like it... however, there are only 2 bedrooms with queens & then the rest of the people sleep on an air matress or the couch. For the price, I know some of my friends would have preferred a bed. (To be fair, after paying and reading the description more, I did ask the owner...and she explained how it would work. However, it was too late for us to make changes due to the timeline. When booking the place, I wish it would have been clearer on the set up as we would have likely looked for a place that could actually sleep in beds a min of 5-6 people).

Other challenge is there is 1 bathroom. Try getting everyone showered, go to the bathroom etc and out the door timely--- didn't happen!

Parking is ok. We've stayed in the area before... so we knew you would have to drive around for a few mins. Good news is we always lucked out and parked within a block or two or on the street itself.

If stairs are hard for you, this is not the place to be. You have to walk up an entire flight of stares before getting to the apartment. Just an FYI. Also, if you have small children I would be nervous on how the stairs are right where everyone walks (very large openning) from the living room to the kitchen/rooms... i.e. kid falling down the stairs.

Lastly, the apartment only had 1 key. This was a big negative for us because we had a 5 of us together, but literally we had to coordinate meeting back up to get back in the house. We did not feel comfortable leaving the key under the mat (just in case). I believe the owner is fixing this... but, it would have been nice to have 3 keys at MIN for a place that says it can sleep 7.

Owner's Response: I am always so happy hen listing sites give us, the owners, the opportunity to reply when a guest make reviews our property. After being in this line of work for six years and only having positive reviews, while offering 7 rental homes, I feel very good about my reputation and the homes I offer. I just newly listed this property before the guest contacted me to rent. It was lucky of her to find it. It also should be known that they were looking for lodging in one of the busiest conventions of the entire year. I had over 60 inquiries prior to hers that I turned away. When she asked me about the size, location and bed accommodations, I was in full disclosure and she knew ahead of time of what the sleeping arrangements were. More specifically, what party of seven adults wants to stay in a home with two bedrooms one bath? In my mind, only one who cannot find another place. If you were to rent a hotel for the same number of guests I'm sure the fee would've been over $500 a night. For what I offered, inclusive of a deck, barbecue, ocean views, the ocean at stones throw, and all the beautiful things she said about the location; it a great value. If u want real comfort, for theses dates, you need to book four months out. It's busy for this expo!!! Inventory goes fast. As to having one key, I have now installed a key pin code lock. I agree keys are real a bummer to keep track of!!! I really appreciated her kind comments about me and the location of the property. She's right on the fact that it this is an upstairs location. The stairs are very steep. But once again, I make sure guests know this. She did give me a great idea and that is supply a baby gate where the stair threshold starts to provide for child safety. Parking at the beach during summertime is always difficult. I also disclosed this. I just want to thank the companies that allow us owners to voice our side! Most of us go through great measures to offer a good product. Then we are at liberty to be reviewed by a guest and in this type of work, there is a lot of different personalities to work with. Does this guest have standards like clean "Felix" on the show, "The Odd Couple" or are they sloppy like "Oscar" on the show? The property is newly listed, and I take great pride and enjoyment from continuously improving this shabby-chic beach place. Again looking at just a 1-sided review does not always paint the whole story. Having an owner response too helps paint the whole experience.

Long Beach Darling! Clean Spacious 900 Sq. Ft. Home A walk t the coast on the Bay side and and a walk across the the beach to the beach and its boardwalk. This is the upstairs unit where you have a spacious two bedroom , 1 bah and large back deck for grilling and chilling. Belmont Shore and its peninsulas offer Close Parks, Freeways, Transit, Airport. 

All of the cool, independent coffee shops and restaurants are here! Beach is 3 blocks away.

The Space

Master tile designer hired for finish work, burnt orange, teal, and soft greens outline the walls for a very alive and relaxing feel. all appliance offered and to cook in the kitchen. We also offer a sand box in the back if kids are present. You can accommodate up to 6 guests here with the extra air mattresses we leave! The cafe below you is part of the building and opens Memorial weekend. I will offer free breakfast - ( see rules on the reservation rental form!) Hours of operation are limited so there will be no loud noises after 10:00pm.

There is no allowed parking. bicycles recommended once you find your parking spot. As with all beach areas, parking is very limited whether you are in OC or Belmont Shore as summer time is quite busy

All of the cool, independent coffee shops, restaurants, business services, beach rentals in Long Beach tend to hug the coastline.-On Broadway and Fourth Street, between Downtown and Belmont Shore, nearly three dozen to choose from small houses of jolt cling, 2nd ST shopping and choices, to street corners, filling up each day with latte fans, shopping, art shops, burritos, sandwich-seekers, gourmet fair, or winery and breweries. Its easy to spend hours on your iPad, computers gobbling free wifi. 

It feels like you never left home except here you are on beaches, 2 miles from CSUB, 1 mile for the Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, and convention Center, 

OR... 2 milse to rent a SUP board, boat, or a take Gondola ride throughout the romantic naples canals (My son works there!!!) LONG BEACH has everything...and is 30 minutes from all OC-Disneyland, Laguna beach, Newport Coast, etc
