About Camelot Shuff
While our family is a bit older than the picture, this was taken while we still lived on the mountain in this beautiful house. My name is Camelot, yes that is my real first name. My mother was inspired by the Kennedy Administration, especially Jacqueline Kennedy. My husband, Sam, grew up in Lynchburg, VA. I met him while at Lynchburg College, which is a little ways from where I was born and bred. Yes in Greenville, South Carolina it is important to add the 'and bred' to that statement. We have been married for 20 years now and are especially proud of our 21 year old daughter who is currently working as an EMT in preparation for attending Physician Assistant School.
Camelot Shuff purchased this House in 2003
Why Camelot Shuff chose McGaheysville
We built this home with a lot of help from my husband's brother, Eddie. I designed the house and my husband who we dubbed 'CAULKMAN' not only built but in his truly detail oriented way, made sure that we have always been toasty in the winter and cool in the summer.
What makes this House unique
Camelot is located a little closer to the ski slopes and hiking than the water park, that is to say we are in the middle of the mountain. So while you are close to the amenities and enjoy the views, you will also be removed from the crowds who gather in the kettle if you so choose. Our quiet cul-de-sac backs up to green space and levels off to provide a great place to shoot some hoops. We are also about a 5-7 minute walk to the arboretum, which is a great place to sled(just in case it snows and you are looking for a place)

Fantastic Vacation Home
This property is fantastic. Perfect setup. Amazing game room. We are looking forward to renting this home again
Great location with great staycation features
The location is updated as to decor and well maintained. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. The location is perfect for accessing the mountain top activities and the the Water Park below
2nd Time Around
This was our second time staying here. We love the house! The game room is perfect for fun on a rainy day and the house is conveniently located to all the resorts amenities.
Game room fun for adults and kids!!!
House was super clean! The game room provided tons of fun for everyone! Great location...In the center of everything. 20 minutes to JMU, 20 or so minutes to Shenandoah! We’ll def stay here again!
Great house for kids
I live nearby but had a group of friends visiting with kids. We decided to rent this house to keep the kids occupied. It worked great. They had their own space and entertainment and we did too. It was a great fit our group.
It was a great Spring Break getaway.
The house was great. Well stocked and comfortable. The game room was great and the bunk/kids room had everything you would want in it. Hot tub was a nice addition. We made good use of the washer and dryer. The stairs are steep from the 1st floor to the main floor. But lots of space and very comfortable.
