House Potami, Vori, South Crete (Messara bay)
Living area with kitchen, terrace, large bedroom, balcony and bathroom with shower.
The stone house Potami is an old kafenion, but completely renovated a few years ago and rebuilt as a holidaz house. It can accommodate up to 3 people on 2 levels.
On the ground floor is the living room with attached kitchen and bathroom. On the first floor is a bedroom with a large balcony. The house is furnished with traditional Cretan furniture which creates a cozy atmosphere.
In addition to the normal equipment, there are a washing machine, large fridge-freezer and a TV.
From Vori one can easily reach the beautiful sandy beaches of Kalamaki / kommos and Agio Farago, the beach villages of Matala, Lendas, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos, archaeological sites like Phaistos and Gortyn.
As the village is located near Psiloreitis, it is a good starting point for walks, bike rides and long walks.
Great place to stay, had everything you needed, would have given 5 stars but on our last day the owner asked us if we had paid as he had received no money, after an hour trying to sort it out, thank goodness I had taken a copy of the invoice saying I had paid, it was HomeAway that had not forwarded the money to the owner. It really did put a damper on our last day.
