Tyson's Manor is situated set back on the Riza Anter Caddessi and is ideal for all amenities, shopping, beaches and transport.
The villa itself has a very homely feeling and is beautiful in appearance with the use of local stone, marble and materials in its design..
On entering the villa through double wrought iron gates via video entry you proceed to the premises along its private driveway to the main entrance.
The pool area is obviously where most guests spend their time and on first inspection they are usually very pleased, the pool is large in comparison to most villas and it's waterfall reminiscent of a famous French landmark makes it pretty unique. The deck area is of terracotta and beautifully lit for evening barbecues or midnight swims as can be viewed in the attached photographs.
Lounging and eating are fully taken care of with loungers and a six place dining table and chairs residing beneath the romantically lit pergola along with the barbecue and it's full compliment of utensils.
Entrance to the villa from the pool area is via a lovely cool reception with its cathedral type windows looking over the pool ,once inside the villa opens up into an open plan living area where you will find a solid wood kitchen that is well equipped including a dishwasher for the unthinkable chore of washing dishes whilst on holiday.
The dining area seats eight people and is very comfortable and quite regal in its decor, the same can be said of the lounge area with its dry stone walls wrought light fittings and solid wood furnishings, there is ample seating for taking advantage of the satellite TV,wireless internet and music system.
If keeping fit is on your agenda then access to the gym area is gained by way of the hallway from the dining area where you will also find a private garden for reading or maybe some alone time.
Lastly on this level you will find the first of two bathrooms that are both fully constructed of local stone giving a traditional Turkish bath feeling.
The first floor level consists of three double bedrooms with a/c all decorated in a subtle but relaxing way.
This floor is also where the second bathroom is situated..
The second floor has a small kitchen and this is where the washing machine can be found along with microwave and facility's for ironing if needed, there is access to the roof terrace from here also.
To describe the villa to its full potential in words is not an easy task and therefore I hope that maybe the viewing of the attached photographs will do it the justice I feel it deserves.
We have vacated in Turkey for the past 12 years and have owned several homes in Yalikavak Bodrum and Tuzla before finally discovering Torba.
Although all the area is of significant beauty Torba stole our hearts because it felt like home so that is what we made it.
We have spent a lot of time personally renovating and adding to the villa and have been humbled many times with kind comments on its design and homely welcoming feel by both passers by and visitors.
Torba is in my mind ideally situated, the airport is between 20 to 30 minutes drive away depending on the driver.
The place itself is less populated than Bodrum giving a more relaxed feeling but with Bodrum being only 4 to 5 minutes drive, nightlife and entertainment are close at hand.
Torba promenade is very beautiful and relaxing with its bars and restaurants dotted along the shore and the fact that affluent Turkish people enjoy it there is testimony to its attraction.
