Welcome to our newly constructed studio apartment located above the detached garage in our back garden at 96 Ferguson Ave in Burlington Vermont. Affectionately known as the garage-mahal the apartment offers privacy and convenience. You'll enjoy the tree-top views and stylish space. In just 320 square feet there's a full kitchen, bath with shower, queen sized bed, dining table for two, loveseat, flat screen tv with WiFi connection and a ceiling fan.

Garage-mahal is on the second floor and is accessed by outdoor stairs.

The location in Burlington's southend offers easy access to downtown and the bike path and is walking distance to the lake and parks. Also close by are a full service grocery, a drug store, 3 craft breweries, and a local chocolate shop,

Wonderful studio apartment in a great location,

My husband and I spent a long weekend here and it was perfect in everyway. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and was well stocked with dishes, linens and supplies. The location was great, close to the bike path which we took advantage of everyday. Walking distance to a great bagel place and coffee. Burlington is a fun city so there was always something to do! I hope to go back in the fall.

Wonderful Burlington Getaway

I enjoyed my stay at Garage Mahal. Very clean, very comfortable and great location. Three breweries within walking distance, all quite good. Overledge Park is nearby for lake swimming or bicycling. The trail is about two miles from Waterfront Park.

No problem finding Garage Mahal, easy to follow instructions. The décor is pleasant, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is extremely clean. The kitchen area is nice but could use some more essentials that a traveler might not bring but had just enough to cook up a meal or two. The air conditioner kept us cool throughout our stay. No problems with the television or the wifi.

Great place to stay, hopefully will make a return trip to Burlington and Garage Mahal.

Clean and comfortable -- very private

We had a great stay at the "garage mahal." The apartment was clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a fridge and stove. The garage is separate from the house, so you have lots of privacy.

This was a meticulously kept property: very quiet, private and welcoming.

We were very happy with our stay. This was a nice, efficient studio apt which was perfect for our needs. We spent most of our time exploring Burlington by foot and bike. There was a spot on the back porch to lock our bikes up when we weren't using them. Very close to a lot of the places we came to see. When we arrived the A/C was on already so it was nice and cool on a 90+ degree day! Our hostess, Nancy, was very personable, and friendly. We will definitely book here again next time we are in the area.
