Why John Chapman chose Nobleboro
Since 1896 this family owned property was first a pasture for grazing cattle, then tree growth untouched for decades. During the 1950's the 25 acre parcel was divided in 4 five acre parcels with 200+ feet of waterfront.
What makes this Cabin unique
Near south end of the 10 mile long lake, the area is less frequented by speed boats than other sections. Canoeing, kayaking and paddling are favorite activities, although some have had luck catching bass and brown trout. Weekends see activity pick up as locals head for the lake. Occasional sitings of wild turkeys, bald eagles, osprey and loons which are most vocal early mornings.
