Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent six days at Rich Mtn. Retreat to celebrate his 65th birthday. The little two person cabin was ideal for a romantic get-away. We had no need or desire to go anywhere.

We just watched the rain and enjoyed the sun and listened to the birds. I offered to buy the cabin if Molly ever wants to sell (she does not). Our first evening there, I booked a week for late October. The cabin is perfect for two. More would be a crowd.

Relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

Everything about the cabin was perfect. The dishwasher was out on us, but hopefully no one else has that problem! The garage isn't available for parking, though. The drive up wouldn't be ideal for any lowered vehicle. I drive a 2010 Honda Civic and it handled great. The drive into town is a little far, so take the advice of stopping before checking in! We visited Amicola Falls and it was worth the drive! Will definitely stay again soon!

Owner's Response: It is always nice to hear my guests enjoyed their stay! I work at running a top notch rental -clean with everything in good working order, but from time to time things do happen. The dishwasher did go out unexpectedly, it has been fixed in between guests and is now ready for the next renter. I do not advertise the garage available for parking and currently need it for storage. I drive a Z28 camaro 1975 classic from time to time and have no problem on the gravel roads--any car very close to ground would not be recommended on a gravel road. Thanks for renting!

Beautiful cabin and surroundings.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful, very clean, and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed and the owners were great to work with. We did have a problem with the water, but they responded quickly and handled it. The nearby town of Ellijay had plenty of restaurants and antique stores to keep me busy. We would definitely return.

HAD A GREAT MID-WEEK VACATION

  • 5 of 5

We came up for a late Winter vacation that was my wife's birthday present. The cabin was cozy, well built and very clean. It was perfect for two people. Molly met us and gave us great tips on where to go and what to do during the Winter off time up here in the N GA mountains. Molly designed the cabin, which her husband built. It is solid, and well insulated. With the leaves down, we had great views of the mountains from the cabin. And with the late Winter timing, restaurants weren't crowded, and neither were the roads. We spent a day at the Gibbs garden, which is just an hour away, and well worth the trip. Our favorite little town was Blue Ridge, just over the mountain. It was nice to visit when it wasn't swarmed with tourists.

All in all, had a great time here. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming, comfortable cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is lovely inside -- nicely appointed and more spacious than the pictures show. There is a vault in the living room that really gives it an open feel, yet it's still nice and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the master shower is beautifully tiled. Molly was great to work with -- quick to respond and clear with her communications. All in all, very professional. I enjoyed my stay very much!
