A Great Vacation
This beautiful home was an excellent choice for our family of thirteen. We had plenty of room and the home was decorated nicely. The kitchen was furnished with any item we needed. The scenery around the property was magnificent, and the outdoor fireplace was enjoyed by everyone. The owner was a pleasure to work with in scheduling this home. This property deserves five stars!
Ideal property for large group
Pictures do not do justice to either the house or the views.
Thank you! The 360 degree views are what captured us from the first time we saw the property, and inspired the design for everyone's favorite feature, the huge living porch!
Second stay and just as beautiful!
Ann is incredible. She was accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. She was also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few nights stay. This was our second year staying here and it's definitely the perfect place to stay in Durango, CO.
Couldn't ask for anything more
What a wonderful place to spend time together. We chose to spend Christmas here with our adult children and their children. There were twelve of us in total, three generations. With five bedrooms, and a bunk room there was plenty of room for everyone.
We had four children ages 3,3,5 & 6, so the four bathrooms were invaluable. The kitchen was complete, I can’t think of a thing we were lacking. The beds were quite comfortable. Even with four children, the sound didn’t travel from room to room or floor to floor. Luckily, we brought a baby monitor to keep tabs on those out of sight.
There is a wonderful game room upstairs with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The front porch is to die for. We spent a couple of chili nights out there staring at the fire. The house was decorated for Christmas, much to the delight of the grands. Beautiful scenery in every direction. It’s amazing how many stars can be seen.
We enjoyed watching for the deer to come visit every day, and had a great time sledding and playing in the snow.
I can only image how wonderful it would be in other seasons.
Perfect for a large family get together!
This home was the perfect spot for our family trip to Durango and the Polar Express. The house had plenty of room for all
17 of us. Very kid friendly, plenty of amenities, cozy and comfortable and a nice drive to the Polar Express. Perfect
weekend! Thank you!!
Great for Big Families
We traveled to Durango for Thanksgiving and this house was perfect for our large family. It was spacious, clean, cozy, just a short drive to downtown, and had amazing views! We loved snuggling up to the fireplace out front. Ann was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would return here in a hear beat!
