Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in West Bellevue - Bellevue Guest House

House, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5)

Fabulous vacation rental 2 blocks from Down town Bellevue on a dead end street. The home has just been completely remodeled top to bottom.

This quaint home boasts a flat fenced yard with attached garage. The exterior yard is professionally landscaped and has a large deck for entertainment. Oversized sliding doors lead in from the yard to the living room with it's warming fireplace. The whole house maintains 1950s charm with all modern updates... light and bright. Wood floors through most of the home with high end carpeting in the living and bedrooms.

We have furnished this home with premium quality amenities everywhere. There are no hand-me-downs or worn out furnishings – everything is new or of quality to last for years. Once you enter the home you will sense the quality, freshness, and convenience.

Included in the home are a newer kitchen, newer bath, newer carpet, roof, wood floors, mill-work and doors, drywall, and paint. Appliances and furnishings include a newer stainless steel refrigerator, new Miele made dishwasher, microwave, premium waterless cookware, coffee maker, front loading washer and dryer, dining room table, fireplace, and couches. Electronics provided include a 42” 1080i plasma TV, blue-ray/DVD/CD player, Netflix streaming capability, cable TV, WiFi (wireless internet) throughout the home.

The home has three bedrooms that can sleep six and a large living room: a Queen bed in the master bedroom, double bed, and twin trundle bed that pulls out to make a king (two twin mattresses at same bedside height). All linens and pillows are first quality. The additional mattresses can be arranged. Each room has comfortable beds with plush duvets and good reading lights. Furthermore, all bedrooms are fully carpeted with large windows to let in lots of light!

Wonderful oversized sliding doors from the living room (with comfortable sofas and chairs) look onto the back yard. This fenced backyard is part of the 9000 square foot flat, sunny, landscaped yard.

There is a one stall garage with opener. It's deep with a storage room off the end. Also lots of lights!

Our Downtown Bellevue Guest Home is an ideal blend of location, amenities, and ease of use. It is located just two blocks south of downtown Bellevue on a double dead end street. You will be surprised such a tranquil location exists so close to Bellevue’s downtown core. There is no need to start your car to go downtown – just walk to all the downtown dining, shopping and movies! You will enjoy extremely easy access to I-90, I-405 and mass transit bus center.

About Pippa Carson

I am a Licensed real estate broker and REALTOR. When I'm not selling homes, I enjoy paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, good food and great wine. I always have a trip planned and love getting away to other magnificent parts of the world. I am originally from South Africa and after graduating from university I lived in Europe, Mexico and then here in the USA. In my early working years I did international government negotiations which was the foundation of her adventurous and successful sales career.

I bought this quaint home due to its fabulous location. At the time I as working in an office in downtown Bellevue. I lived here myself and loved being able to walk to work in the morning and to the movies and dinner in the evening. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, I would enjoy peaceful weekends in the large yard feeling like I was miles from the noise! I enjoy the area so much with the incredible hikes, mountain biking, skiing and city culture all at my fingertips. It's no surprise that my husband, children and I still live in the area and have done so for many years. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Pippa,

We wanted to say, "Thank You!" for allowing us to stay at your vacation home in Bellevue. The location was perfect. The setting was exactly what we needed, quiet and secluded, yet very accessible to freeways and the activities we set out to accomplish.

We also appreciate the extra touches you put into the place with the high chair, protective floor mat, and "pack and play" for our youngest son.

We also used the Netflix feature while we were there.

Our oldest son also greatly enjoyed the accommodations, and his pull out bed was the ideal spot for him to hang out and let our 1 year old be with him too.

You have done a nice job updating the place, and you helped to give us some great ideas for own place back in Portland. :)

Lastly, we hope you enjoy your stay in Mexico at Chad's vacation house in February. It is a beautiful place, and well worth the trip.

Thanks again for everything!

Warm Regards,

Michael and Noriko

Wonderful experiece

  • 5 of 5

We had a mix up with our rental, and contacted Pippa last minute, and amazingly this property was available. I was so stressed, and she was so helpful. The property is beautiful, and the landscaping gorgeous. My children (adults) got to stay longer than we did (unfortunately) but I loved everything about this property.

Very comfortable and consistent with the description.

  • 5 of 5

We were 4 adults with a 4 and 1 year old children. The property made the one week family visit very comfortable.

Check in was simple, Pippa provided needed written instructions in the home as well as in the confirmation notice.

Pictures and description was right on with reality. Easy access to downtown and major highways & streets.

Good local restaurants, I recommend the Mediterranean Grill.

Having a highchair and children toys available was very helpful. The floors were so clean that we let the baby craw around.

We could not have had a better stay in a expensive hotel.

Welcome bottle of wine was well appreciated since we arrived late.

Thanks Pippa

Felt like home while on business in Bellevue

  • 5 of 5

Half the price of a hotel while feeling at home. This home is only a 5 minute uber ride to downtown or a short walk if you don't mind a few hills. Terrific patio for coffee in the morning, quite and peaceful setting while being right in the heart of downtown Bellevue. The house was spotless on arrival and the host was accommodating to our every need. Downtown Bellevue had a wide selection of dinning and shops for relaxation and a short 20 minute drive to Seattle for dinner and site seeing made for a terrific business stay. I will be booking this same house on my next trip, for the value and location it cannot be beat.

Fantastic location, great find!

  • 5 of 5

I really enjoyed my stay here. The house had 3 good sized bedrooms and one bathroom. It was immaculately clean and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The appliances were all top notch and the beds super comfortable and the house very nice and warm. The location is fantastic, easy walking to downtown Bellevue or a 2 minute drive. I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Rough start, happy ending.

  • 4 of 5

This would have been a five star review, please read on for details. Our group of 5 adults, myself and husband, my parents (85 years old) and my sister all rented this house together for my younger son's wedding. We needed a one level home for my parents and this fit the bill perfectly and was close to my son's home. We had traveled all day from MN to Seattle and arrived at the house at 9:15 pm. Unfortunately, the house had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We did see a check on the counter for the cleaning service so we know it was scheduled to be cleaned, but it was not ready for us at all. We contacted Pippa and she immediately apologized and came over to the house. She did clean the house that night, but it was much too late for us to consider staying there. We did return the next day and did enjoy the rest of our stay. You never feel quite the same after an initial bad impression, but Pippa did do all she could to make it right including refunding the first nights stay. We would recommend this house and Pippa for any other guest.

Florida family :)

  • 4 of 5

We arrived to a very clean home. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. There was a queen, full and 2 twin beds (pushed into a queen). We struggled the first day or 2 with having only one bath, but started splitting up who showered at night / morning to get out the door more quickly in the morning. The shower did make a ridiculously loud noise for most of the time the shower was on anyt temp that was warm. We never mentioned it to the owner while we were there bc it didn't seem like something that could be fixed quickly or without having to have unknown workers there while we were out enjoying Seattle. The location of the house was perfect. Easy to get on and off the highways (which seeing Seattles god awful traffic ) was appreciated. We would defiantly stay there again !

Car: recommended

Staying here will put you in the heart of the action but give you the quiet of a double dead end street. It's about the closest you can get to the shops, businesses and restaurants but still have a yard and complete, quiet privacy. There is public transport a few blocks away that can take you just about anywhere although for convenience, we still recommend you have a car. Down town Bellevue is an up-market zone where shops like Nieman Marcus parallel those found in Paris. But there are regular grocery stores and inexpensive restaurants mixed in with the up-market ambiance. For a bit of the 'Old Bellevue' (with huge ambiance), take a stroll up Main Street to the original Bellevue of small shops, fabulous French Bakeries and coffee nooks where the locals have lunch.
