I wanted to have a fun getaway with my family for my birthday. I wasn't sure I could find a cabin since I had decided on doing the trip last minute. However, the owner's daughter was very pleasant to work with and helped me arrange things to make it possible. The chalet was more than adequate for my family of 5 that went on the trip and my little dog too. It was very comfortable and my dad even commented that he felt at home. The location feels quite private and there is a nice creek that runs behind the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely want to come back. The entire process of renting the chalet was very smooth and our deposit was returned very quickly too. Thank you for everything!
The cabin is just great! Our family of 4 (kids ages 9 and 11 plus two parents) had a wonderful time. The cabin layout is convenient and the loft is a great getaway area for kids. The cabin has everything you need, but not more than you need. You can tell it has been well appreciated and cared for. There are convenient hooks on cabin walls for winter gear, and all the basic necessities are there. I appreciated that there were sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, etc. We tried to honor that spirit by replenishing items that we used in the kitchen (e.g. ketchup, salt). There are plenty of decent cooking utensils, bowls, pans, etc., in the kitchen. We didn't get the enjoy the deck much but it would be great in the summer. The only thing I would change is to not use scented items (carpet/air freshener, candles, decor). I am sensitive. I put the candles in a closed bedroom bureau, and after a day or so, I didn't notice the scent anymore. Lovely cabin - thank you for a wonderful winter getaway! We loved it.
Really enjoyed this warm home in the woods. Love the fact this is a perimeter property, and the national forest is your neighbor.
If your looking for a place of privacy and natures tranquility, look no further.
Will be back again, hopefully sooner than later.
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin! We had two couples and four kids total. The kids all got their own upstairs loft and we got our own rooms . It was perfect thank you very much!
We had a great time staying at the cabin. It was comfortable, cozy, and clean. Price was right. Plenty of blankets and towels. We had 2 families staying in the cabin, that included 3 teens, and there was plenty of room. Working with the owners worked out well. They responded quickly and accurately, including when retuning my deposit (which they did almost immediately). What I liked most was the privacy, as the cabin is on the edge of the development, backed by forest land instead of other cabins. We will definitely stay here again.
