Beautiful cottage, lovely host
The cottage is easy to find and conveniently located. Hendrick was kind enough to invite us to the Farmers’ Market on Saturday, taking the bus to Bath. The bus is convenient and cheap, and driving in Bath would have been a challenge for me. The Crown at the foot of the hill has excellent food, and the Co-op at the top of the hill had great pastries on the weekend. We also recommend Easton Spice for dinner.
It was a great pleasure to be your host, thank you
Lovely studio, very helpful host
Complete kitchen, washing machine, spacious
Peaceful and relaxing
Great place to stay...it was quite and very comfortable with a lovely setting. Easy access to Bath central by bus and the locals were friendly. Great hosts as well. Many thanks, Kate
Very comfortable stay
Very well equipped, extremely comfortable bed, great shower, comfortable seating, good heating.
In a lovely village with a well provisioned local shop. Quiet location. Easy to bus into Bath (no. 3)
Thanks for your verdict. We love to have guests like you.
Fabulous studio cottage in beautiful Somerset
We decided to take a 3 month holiday in the Bath region and took a chance on the accommodation. The experience exceeded our expectations. Not only was the accommodation well appointed and situated in the lovely village of Bathford, Gillian and Hendrik made us feel right at home. In a word it was ‘perfect’.
Thank you for your kind words. You were perfect guests and we hope that we will see you again.
Very nice old world feel
Hendrik and Jillian were very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the house and it’s location to the things we wanted to see. Hendrik helped us to revise our itinerary to make the most of our stay.
Thank you for your kind words and the very useful souvenir you gave us. Whenever I am chopping parsley I will remember you.
