This is a completely furnished one bedroom-one bathroom apartment offered monthly at $2,900.00. Our minimum term is 30-days and Our Summer term from mid to late May to 31 August requires a minimum 90-day lease. Longer terms are always preferred.

This elegantly furnished one bedroom/one bathroom apartment is best suited for one person; however, two people can comfortably share the space. The unit boasts approximately 550 square feet and is nicely decorated and handsomely furnished with many items from The Bombay Company and accented with tasteful wall art. Ceilings are 10' tall with recessed lighting and incredible amounts of natural light emitting from three, huge bay windows. The apartment is on the building's top floor where you have a bird's view of eclectic Euclid Street and the pedestrian traffic below. The living area has hardwood flooring with a plush Oriental area rug, bedroom flooring is a neutral Berber, wall-to-wall carpeting and brilliant white, ceramic tile is used in both the kitchen and bathroom. Guest entry is securely controlled from within the apartment by an intercom access system.

The living area has a chic and very comfortable leather sleeper sofa (pulls out to full-size bed) and Queen Anne style writing desk and chair, Chippendale coffee table and a plush Oriental rug. For entertainment you will find a Samsung High-Definition, 32' flat-screen television, with Direct TV's Premium Channels to include HBOs, Starz and Encore channels all resonating from a Panasonic surround sound home theater system with BluRay DVD and iPOD craddle . . . AND . . . XFINITYS Cable Broadband ecured High-Speed Internet (wired and wireless) is all included in rent---not bad for a nicely furnished apartment of this size in one of The District's hottest neighborhoods!

This newly updated kitchen opens to the living area joined by an 'eat-in' counter space with comfortable bar stools. In the kitchen you will find a full complement of pots and pans, glasses (water, juice and wine), dinner ware, flat ware and there's also professional chef's cutlery set. If you enjoy food shopping and cooking then you'll love the new Harris Teeter Food Market, just one block away. And, if you enjoy preparing meals, you'll love this kitchen! Newly installed are granite counter tops throughout with a commercial grade faucet wand. The appliances are 'state-of-the-art' with Samsung's, stainless steel convection oven with warming center and ceramic cook surface. Other kitchen accessories include: GE Profile refrigerator with ice maker and GE Profile stainless steel dishwasher, toaster, Black & Decker under cabinet, stainless steel programmable coffee maker, and over the range microwave oven.

Please understand that this unit is a traditional sublet, i.e., the apartment is typically reserved for family members visiting or working in the area; therefore, a few personal items remain in unit. For example, the bedroom has a seven foot tall Colonial high boy dresser/chest and one or two of the drawers will have items stored there and under the bed. The bed is a full size Mission style sleigh bed with Seally Posturepedic mattress and a small walk-in closet that accommodates plenty of hanging and folding storage. Other bedroom amenities for this particular apartment include a wall mounted Sharp Aqous 20' flat screen TV with Direct TV's HD receiver, a suit valet from The Bombay Company and mirrors from Pottery Barn--and---electric radiant floor heating. A full complement of pillows, towels, blanket and linens are provided.

There is a new Maytag washer and dryer set and iron and ironing board in the apartment. An energy efficient heat pump (central air unit) with digital thermostat provides comfort year-around in the unit. Please note: utilities (electric usage) is NOT part of rent and will be deducted from security deposit at the end of your stay. All apartments are separately metered; therefore, you only pay for the electric used within your unit. The building and apartment is very energy efficient and your electric bills will strictly be based on your personal level of comfort (thermostat control), how frequently you cook to prepare meals and how often you use the washer/dryer. Recent electric invoices for this unit show approximately $59.00/month during spring and fall months and $86.00/month during winter and summer months.

The tax rate of 14.5% is dictated by D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue; however, you will be 'tax exempt' for terms of stay 90 days or longer.

Electric usage will be deducted from your security deposit at end of your stay. All apartments are separately metered and you only pay for what you use. Your electric usage is predicated upon how much cooking you do, how frequently you wash and dry clothes and your personal level of comfort (thermostat setting to you central heat and air conditioning system).

We will provide you with a 'Move-In Checklist' to grade condition of the apartment upon taking possession. Before departing we will provide you with a 'Move-Out Checklist' as a guide to help you prepare the apartment in the condition found, or you can pay an additional $100.00 as a cleaning fee--your choice.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
