Rosebud Cottage was built for tannery workers in the 1850's. Beautifully restored it is unusually light and bright. It is traditional but stylish.
Downstairs there is a comfortable, cosy sitting room; a well equipped separate kitchen - with a small dining table - and bathroom with a bath and shower.
Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms with plenty of storage. The main bedroom has a double bed, with an original Victorian fireplace and hand painted bedside cabinets. The second bedroom has a single bed but has plenty of space and a great view of the lovely back garden.
You can sit outside and relax in the front and back gardens. They have plants in flower throughout the year! You can listen to the mill stream which runs behind the back garden.
The cottage has a unique position. It is very close to the main street of Steyning with interesting independently run shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. At the same time it is on the edge of the small town and you can be on a country footpath within 5 minutes of leaving the cottage.
