The Perfect Sedona Experience!
We absolutely loved our stay here! The place in clean and beautiful with a stunning view from the back patio. The location is ideal for all you want to do in the Sedona area. Linda is helpful and responsive. We couldn't have asked for more and hope to be back!
Lovely home, great location
I would highly recommend this property. Linda was great from start to finish, very responsive and friendly. The house is very cozy, spotlessly clean and well stocked with basics. About a 15 minute drive outside of Sedona, which was perfect as far as we were concerned. About a 5 minute drive to the very cute old downtown Cottonwood. Linda‘s recommendations for sightseeing, hiking and restaurants are spot on. I would highly recommend her property and would certainly stay again if we ever get back to Sedona.
Thank you, you were perfect guests!
I've had a few requests for coffee lovers, best locations for coffee in the area. I've been searching out these spots and have some excellant recommendations. I made a map if anybody wants more info I can email it to you. That is if you love, love your coffee.
A Week of Relaxing
The property and Linda's home were beautiful and so well maintained. The golf course setting offered much in the way of relaxing on the rear patio, making use of Linda's new lounge chairs. Even though we had rain some days, the home offered ways to relax, especially for reading. We all loved the large round reading chair with a window view of the golf course, even though my wife didn't want to share it. The property is central and convenient to everything we were interested in. Two of our highlights were, Jerome and Red Rock State Park.
We had lunch at the Asylum Restaurant, in the Grand Hotel, Jerome, and were treated with a thunderstorm while we were there enjoying that bit of history.
You guys were fabulous, great communication and I love the way you took care of the house. It sounds like you were able to relax and enjoy some of the sites. we did have more rain this spring than usual, but it's making for some beautiful color in the forest.
I hope you'll return on my return discount program: Second trip $50 off, third trip $100 off, and so on. It's accumulative.
Beautiful home. Quiet place to relax after a day of hiking, shopping and sight seeing. Started the day on the back patio with a cup of coffee ended the day on the patio watching the sunset sky colors.
Everday we watched hummingbirds feeding on the flowering bushes. This a well kept property.
I'm glad you were able to relax and enjoy the beauty of the backyard. The new lounge are really nice. I removed the fire pit to make room for them, I found the fire pit wasn't used very often. The lounge chairs are be something that you can use year round. Thank you for being such fabulous guests!
Sad to leave
Very central location, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean. Linda was a pleasure to work with providing excellent information about things to do and places to eat etc. We could not have enjoyed our vacation more! We would absolutely stay here again.
Thank you, I hope you will come back and take advantage of my return visit discount program. I'm excited that I now have people coming back for their fourth trip, some book six months to a year in advance.
I'm glad you found the house clean, I am blessed to have Sharon's help, she is just as much of a perfectionist as I am ( I was surprised to see her using a Q-tip on the back of the toilet) I hope to see you next year. Linda
My husband and I stayed 6 nights and wished it could have been longer! Beautifully decorated, clean and comfy home. We were so happy to spend our days sightseeing in Sedona, Jerome, the Grand Canyon, and the Verde wine country, then come "home" each day to this special spot. Quiet and peaceful place to relax with all the comforts of home. We appreciated having Netflix to watch, the patio to sit on with our morning coffee, and a place to do a little laundry so we didn't have to pack a lot of clothes. We would rent this home again anytime we are visiting the Sedona area. Thanks for your wonderful and warm hospitality, Linda!
I get that! When I bought the house I thought I would want to take weekend trips to see other things, but once I got here I realized how nice it was to come home every night. I never run out of things to do in the area. In addition to 25 million acres of natural Forest Land, the Vortex's, the hiking, the creek swimming, the rock climbing, the mountain biking.
There is the Native American history, the drum circles and flute players, the Native American art at the pull out on 89A near Flagstaff. The ghost town of Jerone, with the interesting architecture and good food and wine tasting. The Out of Africa Wildlife Park, Free on your birthday. The scenic Verde Valley train ride with dining. The Art, there's 50 galleries in Sedona alone, It's not unusual to see an Art Show roadside in Sedona. The spiritual commuity, meditation, natural healers, physical therapists, readers, yoga, pilates. The wine tasting, five locations alone with only within only 10 minutes of the house, plus more. The music, the dining, there's always live bands and entertainment at the bars and restaurants. Balloon rides, horseback rides, Jeep rides, there's always an event going on in town and one day classes or events that you could find cheap on AZKudos. com and it's nice to be close to home. It is hard to see it all in only 6 nights and also make time to relax and get a good night's sleep.
If you would like to stay close to home there are many wonderful experiences to be had in this area of the Verde Valley. There are several local wineries on Page Springs Road (about 5-10 minutes away), and don't forget the Fish Hatchery on that road, as well. In nearby Camp Verde are Montezuma's Well, Montezuma's Castle, and a little farther out, Tuzigoot, Honanki and Palatki, ruins. Also near the house is the Out of Africa Wildlife adventure area. For some night life, Cliff Castle Resort & Casino in Camp Verde (about 10 min. away) has some great restaurants, a bowling alley, and, of course, lots of 'one armed bandits,' if you want to try your luck!
Nearby Old Town Cottonwood is also a great place for an afternoon stroll. Plays and performances are offered in the Theatre there, and the La Bella Restaurant offers wonderful natural fare. The Clarkdale Train offers a sweet ride through the local mountains, with the guide pointing out both historical and natural points of interest...a real treat for train kids!
I can help you tailor your experiences to your interests and budgets...just ask! If I don't know the answer to your question, I will be happy to try and get one for you.
This is high desert living at its finest and it won't break the bank. Come stay in my home, I would love to have you.
