Quaint cottage in the historic Cotton Mill District

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is cozy, comfy and fully outfitted with kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom supplies . The best part is it is dog friendly! It backs up to a huge field (and dog park) so it was perfect for our 4 legged friends. Karen is a wonderful host who met us at the cottage for an introduction and to fill us in on the area. The cottage is in the historic district of Edenton, but what's not? The whole town is full of history, beautifully restored and maintained homes. It is just a few blocks to the Albermarle Sound - and access to kayaking, fishing, and bird watching. Kayak rentals are just $5/hr! There are wonderful coffee shops, restaurants, and shops in the downtown as well. Perfect little house for our three week stay.

Such a quaint adorable cottage

  • 5 of 5

I visited last year around the same time in July....with our dogs. Just needed to "get away" from Williamsburg, Virginia where we live and get some rest and relaxation. That's exactly what we got.

We packed very lightly because last year we saw how the cottage was fully furnished with just about ANYTHING we could possibly need. Our dogs are our fur kids and they couldn't have been more well behaved and enjoyed the awesome dog walking neighborhood that is there!! It's just.,...perfect! Karen is a very attentive owner and is around the block if anything is needed. We will be back my friend for sure!!

Awesome Place!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage in the historic Cotton Mill district of Edenton was, in a word, AWESOME! My wife and I stayed there for part of our honeymoon. We found the property to be quiet, comfortable, and accessible to all parts of the town of Edenton.

The property owner, Karen, lived locally and maintained contact with us throughout our stay. She even provided nice touches such as champagne for two, bicycles, a gas grill, etc. We could not have chosen a better place to spend our time. When we return to Edenton in the future, we will definitely choose this property.
