This newly renovated apartment has 2 bedrooms each with comfy queen size beds. The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment, so you are assured of privacy. 2 freshly tiled bathrooms are yours to enjoy. In addition to the 2 bedrooms, there is an additional room with a day bed that opens to a King size bed. The living room is large and has a great reading chair, game table, and flat-screen television. New for 2016 is a private outdoor patio with grill. First floor unit has drive for parking and private access into unit.

About Colleen Bedard

I am a New Englander and have lived in the Portland area off and on for 25 years. I am now settled here and wouldn't live anywhere else but Munjoy Hill. It is truly special to hear fog horns, the train, and the tug boats hard at work in the harbor. The sounds and the smells leave a lastly impression. In addition to being a Realtor, I am also an artist and founded the Society for East End Arts with a few fellow-artists almost 10 years ago. I love walking on the Eastern Promenade with my dog, Coali, where there is an off-leash area for her to run and socialize with the other Hill dogs.

I love Portland's East End. It's where I live myself, and I feel fortunate to step out of my door each day to see the sun and moon rise over Casco Bay. I wouldn't live anywhere else and think you will enjoy visiting Portland with all that it has to offer.

What makes this apartment unique

When I saw this property, I had to have it--and so did several other people. I was in a multiple offer situation and was fortunate enough to be the chosen buyer. It's a comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. I love that this unit has its own private entrance and coveted driveway. The unit is furnished with art created by local artists and treasures that I've collected around Portland. I hope you'll have fun with the chalkboard wall in the dining room!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, near Eastern Prom. Felt like a 'home away from home'!

Loved being so close to the Eastern Prom. Walked into downtown Portland and to Casco Bay Ferry from this location. Spacious & clean. Nice bright colors & simple decor. Washer & Dryer a bonus. Two full baths helped our family of 5 share the space. Afew nice cafes & markets in neighborhood. It would be great if the unit included two simple beach chairs since we went to Crescent Beach & Scarborough Beach during our stay. Helpful owner.

Exceeded Expectations

The property was clean, cute, and perfect for our family with toddlers! They loved the chalkboard wall! The smallest bedroom had a nice low bed, which was perfect for kids but very comfortable. No bathtub, which was fine but we hadn't realized prior to visit. Great location!!

The overall spaciousness and accommodations were absolutely amazing. Plenty of room. Very clean. In a great part of town. For our particular occasion, it was the greatest and we will most definitely try and do it again in the event we are ever in the Portland area. Thank you so much!

Awesome!

Colleen was great to work with, and so accommodating! The place was cute and clean, and perfect for us and our 3 kids, including an infant. Colleen provided a pack-n-play for us to use, which was really helpful, and was available to answer questions we had over the course of the weekend. This property made our short stay in Maine so much more enjoyable, especially in January.

This freshly renovated apartment is located on Munjoy Hill. Downeast Magazine's recent article 'Cool on the Hill' characterizes this area as the hippest area in Portland. Located in a residential neighborhood, the apartment is steps from the Eastern Promenade park which has a beautiful lookout into Casco Bay. It's an easy walk to several fine restaurants, Rosemont Market, and Hilltop Coffee. Hop in your car and grab groceries at Whole Foods, Trader Joes, or Hannaford--all just 10 minutes away. Portland Trails provides a lovely walking trail along the water into downtown Portland. Portland is a foodie town, and it's difficult to find a bad meal here. Beaches are an easy 15 minute drive to South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, or Scarborough. East End Beach is located within the Eastern Promenade Park. From your rental, you can hear fog horns, see the moon rise over the bay, and hear the osprey overhead. Hop over to one of the many island in Casco Bay to spend the day peddling or walking around or take the 'mail boat' which stops at a handful of islands and makes a fun day trip. Outlet shopping is 20 minutes away in Freeport. So much to see and enjoy!
