Reviewer Comments:

This is our second year renting this property and we are just as happy as we were last year! The cottage is just the right size and has everything we needed. The fishing was good and we caught bass, perch, and sun fish. Close enough to all the spots we enjoy visiting but remote enough to feel private and peaceful.

Reviewer Comments:

Great view of the lake - we enjoyed reading on the dock. The water was nice and shallow for our son to play in. Ample outdoor seating. Friendly neighbors. Only a few drawbacks for us - Some of the essential kitchen items (pots & pans) were extremely dirty. It seemed to be caked on and we couldn't get it off to use them. The smell of the water is pretty bad. We have stayed at places with well water in the past but this was very stinky. We ended up going to a local store to buy water to brush our teeth with and we dreaded taking a shower.

Reviewer Comments:

The lake was beautiful and the house was really well stocked with cooking essentials, towels, and outdoor fun items -kayaks, bag toss, board games, et. The only drawback was the water smelled HORRIBLE - to the point where we hated showering. Otherwise it's a fun little rental.

We enjoyed our short stay at rustic Leaning Pine. It was a quiet location on Bass Lake perfect for relaxing, fishing, kayaking and gazing at the stars by the fire pit. You'll feel like you're stepping back in time with a decor of the 1957 era when it was built.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Bass Lake. The cottage was well stocked and we loved the vintage vibe. The dock, swimming dock, kayaks, rowboats, Fire pit, corn hole game and nice sized yard provided lots of opportunity for fishing and fun. Would have loved having more time to stay and hope to return!

We really enjoyed our week at this rental. The lake is quiet and great for fishing and kayaking. With the row boat, kayaks, fishing poles and grill included you can start enjoying the lake and outdoors immediately. The lake is shallow and safe for kids and dogs to swim. The description and photos are exactly what you get, no dishonesty or deception. Everything was great.
