This accommodation was quaint and close to the KU campus. It was advertised as having wifi and cable. When we arrived, there was no wifi. After calling the owner many times, he said the wifi problem would be addressed in the morning. We were depending on it to watch a livestreamed event, which we missed. The wifi was checked by someone else, but not fixed. About 8 hours later, someone from across the street came over at the owner's request to offer their wifi password. At this point our stay was almost over and trying to access that wifi was not a reasonable solution. I have since contacted owner to discuss the possibility of a price adjustment for the problem, but the owner has not responded.
Fun old rental in a great location.
Glen was very responsive. It is a great rental in a fun part of town.
It was a great location to the university and the downtown area. It was a great experience!
Cute with some minor issues
The house was charminng. I loved the modern kitchen and bathroom. It would appear however that the person in charge of hanging mirrors and porch swings is a very tall person. I stand 5'2 and the mirror cut my face off at my chin and my feet were a foot and a half off the ground in the swing. It was defiantly a challenge to climb into with a cup of coffee. The neighborhood obviously has college kids in it who party late into the night. Not the home owners fault
However, not sure I would rent it again due to the noise level.
Great property in a great location
This is the second time I have stayed here and it does not disappoint.
Perfect location for graduation
We rented this house for our daughter's graduation from KU. We couldn't be happier with our decision. It was so nice to be so close to the ceremony and activities on campus. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather so we spent a lot of time outside on the patio. The house is small with 2 bedrooms up and 1 bath on the main level. Which is somewhat of an inconvenience however we made it work. The house is equipped with everything you need and things you won't need. I would not hesitate to rent this house again.
During KU football games you have the option to park up to 19 cars in the front and back yard.
