The large master suite and bathroom are on the top floor with views to the ocean. A spiral staircase takes you up to the 4th level sundeck. From the sundeck you have access to a widow's watch that provides views from the southern tip of stump pass to Lemon Bay and Englewood Beach.

The wildlife here is amazing, we have an osprey that sits across the street from the house and dines on fish every morning. On the Lemon Bay you can spot dolphins and manatee swimming along the shoreline. Sea turtles lay eggs here every year and fossilized sharks teeth can be found along the beach. About David Yildiz

I live in Berlin Massachusetts with my wife and 3 children, and we try to make it down to Manasota Key whenever we can. I grew up in New England but I will retire on Manasota Key!

David Yildiz purchased this house in 2014

Why David Yildiz chose Florida South Central Gulf Coast

This home is a 5 minute walk to Stumps Pass which is the real treasure on Manasota Key. It is a mile of undisturbed beach along the Gulf of Mexico where seashells and shark teeth wash up. The beach stays secluded due to the very limited parking, a huge plus if you live here. A hiking trail passes through five distinct natural communities in Stumps Pass Park that provide homes for many species of wildlife. There are covered picnic tables located along the trail and you have access to both the Gulf and Bay sides at certain points along the way. Wildlife consists of manatees, gopher tortoises, ospreys, snowy egrets, terns, and magnificent frigate birds. Take advantage of the Ranger-led nature hikes that are available in the winter.

What makes this house unique

The home has the best views on the island as there is a widows watch that rises 5 stories high where you can see the southern tip of the island as well as Lemon Bay.

You are steps from the beach, and only a 5 minute walk to Stumps Pass State Park.

The house was designed to be handicapped accessible with an elevator and a wheelchair friendly master shower.

We provide free use of bikes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards as well as beach gear like coolers, towels, toys, and chairs.

The home offers high end appliances and a fully equipped kitchen.

An outstanding home in an absolutely amazing area. Views, wildlife, beaches, sports

  • 5 of 5

This property was absolutely perfect for our group of 11, ranging in ages from 4 months to 84 years. The home itself is beautiful, well equipped, and very spacious making it quite comfortable for a large group. The views are incredible, especially from the upper decks where you can see in every direction. It is right near a cool state park. We saw osprey nests, manatees, tortoises, dolphins and all kinds of birds. We all enjoyed using the bikes and kayaks which are included with the rental. It was also awesome to have the beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach toys for the kids to use. We didn't have to buy or rent anything. The house is a short walk to the beach access, across a road with minimal traffic. Englewood Beach is a gem and never seems to get very crowded. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and responded quickly to all of our questions and requests. It was a perfect week in paradise. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful house in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed staying 2 weeks in this house on Manasota Key. This is a lovely location with views of the gulf and the intercoastal waters from the great viewing area on the top of this house. Really close to the gulf, where we watched great sunsets. We loved the large screened in porch on the top floor. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Great restaurants and entertainment in this area and not so much traffic as other places we have stayed. I recommend this property to anyone who needs large spaces as it has 5 bedrooms, which worked out wonderful for our large group. Hope to be coming back next year!

This property served as the PERFECT home for our two family winter vacation.

  • 5 of 5

We got to experience quality family time and individual time here. Kayaking, bicycling, boogie board riding and other beach equipment were provided. Thick beach towels, luxurious linens for the bath and bed, and every kitchen appliance thinkable were ready for us. The home was immaculate when we arrived and we tried to leave it with minimal clean up necessary. The owner was attentive to my questions before move in and was professional in every way...

Very nice with all the amenities

  • 4 of 5

We loved the home and location to the beach. There were a few things missing or broken that owner should take care of soon; missing paddle boards, holes in kayaks, broken futon and outdoor shower. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. As a side note, property across the street is being developed so this rental may lose it's open view of the beach.

Owner's Response: Very please that you enjoyed the home and had a great stay. The outdoor shower is fixed now and the futon which was broken just prior to your visit is being replaced (scheduled for 2/17), sorry about that. Only one of the two empty lots across the street is being developed right now, not sure when the south side lot will be developed but I don't expect it to be this year. David

Nice house with plenty of space and close to beach

  • 5 of 5

Very nice house with plenty of bedrooms and space for our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Loved the porches on every level to relax and listen to the waves. The location to the beach was very close, so it was great of any of the kids wanted to go back to the house and we didn't have to pack up a car. The beach was not crowded at all and everyone was very friendly. We found at least 200 shark teeth and 2 perfect sand dollars washed up right in front of us on a walk! We even had family pictures taken one evening at Stumps Pass. Loved it!
