We were in town for the Inauguration. Very professional . Everything was exactly as stated in the description/photo. I will DEFINITELY use them again.
Cam's upscale Chevy Chase Condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, and 3 kids ages 14, 12, and 9). We came to the DC area during Christmas Break for a site seeing experience, and feel incredibly lucky to have discovered this property. Cam is awesome to work with! This condo was the perfect home base location and evening retreat for our family. From the upscale neighborhood location, to the condo amenities (the gourmet kitchen and the spa-like showers are AMAZING), and the ease for which we were able to connect with public transportation, this property is simply perfect. It is a fairly short (and beautiful) 1/2 mile walk to the Metro station, and to amazing shopping like GAP, J.Crew, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany, Jimmy Choo, H&M, and etc.). There are also many great restaurants near by was well. Honestly, we had the best trip ever, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything Cam!
I got this condo for my parents and their friends as a early Christmas present so they could go explore Washington DC. Not only was the location perfect the unit is very spacious. It has everything you could ever need for a short visit or an extended stay. Cam was very nice and even let me parents in a little early so they could begin their vacation. They said the condo was just a few steps to the metro where you can go anywhere and everywhere you want to go. They also said the condo was beautiful. You will love it!
Location was fine, but right on the border of transitional neighborhood with low income housing around. Unit not the one pictured in these photos, no outdoor patio or deck. Towels and bed linens had holes in them, both irons were too dirty to use. Located on fire truck route so lots of sirens throughout the night. If you're not there a lot it's a fine situation. Manager was lovely to work with, very flexible.
This apartment is modern, clean, and well-located, with fast access to Columbia Heights shopping/dining and metro station. However, don't book it if you need more than 2 beds. The couch is firm and not particularly comfortable to sleep on. Also, bear in mind that the upper-level bedroom has no door, and the lower-level bedroom is separated from the den by thin glass doors, so you can hear everything that happens in the apartment no matter where you are. The place is appropriate for two people or perhaps two couples, but don't expect to have space for more than that.
This condo is every bit as stylish and up to the minute as it looks in the pictures. All amenities are provided. And Cameron was a responsive, flexible and generous host. We were a family group of 6 adult women. Plenty of beds (we shared the king and queen beds, and put singles in the den and on the sofabed in the living room), baths and linens. We loved having the two story living/dining/kitchen area for visiting, meals and entertainment. Just wouldn't have been possible in a hotel. the space is beautifully light and airy. The big news is the location. I lived in DC years ago but did not really know this hip, developing neighborhood. As the description says, you are steps from the center of Columbia Heights with its shops, restaurants, bars of every stripe, and metro / buses. You can literally walk to the zoo, to Rock Creek Park, to the party scene of Adams-Morgan and to the hot U St/14th St. Neighborhoods. We especially liked The Heights and Cava for food. If you want to go to any other part of the DC area, hop on the yellow line Metro or any of the convenient buses that run on 14th Street. Enjoy!
As a family of 5 we just could stand the thought of jamming into a motel room. This unit was just right for our family. It was just as promised and everyone had their own space when we were in the room. Cameron the owner was extremely helpful and pointed out everything we would need while we were there and when we did have questions he responded ASAP. The proximity to the Metro, shopping and dining was excellent. You do not need a car with this condo you can walk to anything you need and if you do need a car there is a ZipCar lot right on the street. There is a great Target and other groceries right around the corner. There is all the family dining close if you need it and sense it is right off the Metro you can be anywhere in minutes.
We felt as safe as you can ever feel in DC and the Street we were on felt very secure. There were also two secure door between our unit door and the street so we felt very secure which is important in DC.
They only down side is that you could hear walking and talking from an upstairs unit at times but it was manageable. It didn't keep us up as this is not a party place. (This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars)
We would recommend this place and when we go to DC we will stay here again.
Chevy Chase, Maryland has long been considered one of the Washington region’s quintessential high-end suburbs: an area with green lawns, high-priced homes and virtually no commercial districts, it offers an escape from the noisy city, but is still within close driving distance of downtown DC and its amenities.
These days, the region that borders Chevy Chase to the north and west has grown tremendously, but the neighborhood itself remains a quiet enclave with very few commercial options within its boundaries. Given the neighborhood’s high housing prices, that insularity feels like exclusivity, but residents say it’s a welcoming, friendly place that is very family-centric. We are close to downtown Bethesda and Friendship Hight DC.
