Welcome to our 4-season cabin with a gorgeous view of Kabekona Bay, Leech Lake, MN. Built in 2003, the A-frame style sleeps 4 comfortably and includes a private marina with boat slip and swimming dock. We are 3 miles from Walker and right next to Paul Bunyan and Heartland Trails. Enjoy hiking and biking in the beautiful north woods as well as snowmobiling on the 1,000 miles of groomed trails.
Kabekona Bay is easily accessible to the main lake, yet the bay is usually calm and the water is warm. Great for lake sports. Rentals of jet skis and water toys are available in Walker.
Hunting and fishing are excellent here. DNR considers Leech Lake one of the top walleye producing lakes in the state. Trophy muskie and plentiful pan fish are taken from the lake each year. Located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest, there is easy access to public hunting.
The city of Walker is 3 miles away, accessible by auto, boat, snowmobile or bike. It is a special place that many fall in love with. There are many excellent restaurants, bars/entertainment, unique-one of kind stores, coffee/ice cream shops, bait and water rental spots. A spacious city park and beach are in the heart of the town. Walker is a place you will want to visit again.
We hope you will visit our cozy cabin on the bay, smell the pine trees, enjoy the abundant birds and wildlife, catch lots of fish, explore the nearby trails, relax with a beverage on the deck, and take in all this area has to offer.

Nice to be able to snowmobile right from cabin! Great updated cabin - perfect for our family of 3 high school kids. Fishing was slow, but had a nice fish house rental. Will definitely stay here again!
This is my third year renting this cabin. It is well maintained and for northern Minnesota a few luxuries like wi if and satellite tv. Not right on the lake but up on a hill with the Paul Bunyon trail below and glimpses of the lake from your big front deck. Beautiful trees surround you. It will not disappoint !
We stayed for an entire month and everything about it was great! The owner Greg - great guy who was eager to make sure we were comfortable and had the inside scoop on where the fish were biting. The cabin was very clean and well appointed with every kitchen gadget I could possibly ever need. The refrigerator and freezer were huge and minimized the need to go running for groceries. However, if you need groceries, liquor, bate, fudge or the occasional late night ice cream cone, Walker is only 3 miles away. We found the washer/dryer very convenient and rewashed laundry rather than hauling a bunch of clothes, etc. Beds were very comfortable, Greg said he had just updated them all, I could tell he spent good money on them as they were a treat after a long day of fishing. Enjoyed the beautiful deck and the many different colors of hummingbirds attracted to the feeder feet from the table and chairs. The marina was nice, fairly private, shared with only a few others and lit at night. We loved the Paul Bunyon Train and went for long walks on it each day - beautiful and only steps from the property. Excellent value, great family cabin, great guys fishing get away, great girls long weekend, etc. we had fun!
By the end of the month we were calling it "home".
We came up to go 4-wheeling at the stomping grounds and this was the perfect location! Close enough to town to go out for a nice dinner and do a little gambling but also beautiful evenings by the campfire or fishing off the dock, which was a very short walk away. We would love to come back again!
Nice Place. Great view. Well heated in winter.
Good for single family with kids. Would like to check it out in the spring or fall.
