The Skagit river in the front yard, this house is an ideal home base from which to explore the area or just stay put. You can take a day hiking trip in majestic mountains and come 'home' to sleep in a comfy bed instead of a tent! There are several dams to visit nearby and the historic town of Concrete is fun to explore and nearby. This is also the perfect place to just relax on the deck enjoying a lovely view of the Skagit River or roast marshmallows at the fire pit next to the river. The large sandy beach at the community park is within walking distance and a must see with beautiful vistas. Bring your camera and your fishing pole! Come in the winter to see the eagles or in the summer to explore the North Cascades! The neighborhood is a mixed use community, full time residential and camping or vacation properties.

Peaceful spot on the river

Great getaway for a few days. Cozy and clean. Would like to go back in better weather, maybe this summer.

Wonderful riverside stay

This property was an amazing stay during our visit to North Cascades National Park. We were able to make it down to the river in the back and got to see salmon spawning! What a neat experience. Highly recommend this cozy stay for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Great cottage in Concrete

Cottage was nice and cozy. Great location close to town and as a base traveling to different parts of North Cascades National Park.

Great place for hiking the cascaded

Only took a half hour to get to the park. The hiking and the park were great. Very clean. Well equiped. Everything you need. The River the property is on was beautiful

This is such a peaceful place and the river is beautiful. Easy access to the North Cascades National Park where beauty and hiking opportunities abound.

What makes this property unique

The nearby Community beach is easy to walk to. The road in the community are flat and great for a jog in the morning. I love to sip my coffee from the deck and watch the river.
