Upgraded kitchen amenities include Cuisinart coffee machine and coffee grinder, espresso machine, slow cooker, fondue set, waffle maker and Kitchenaid pots and Henckels knives, it's not your average rental kitchen.
Outdoor patio eating and seating area for six people with cushioned chairs. Plenty of hot tub towels, plastic glassware, some board games and an ipod dock for great times relaxing with friends.
With 2 bedrooms and a comfortable pull out sofa in the living room, this 1000 sq ft. unit sleeps up to 6 people. The spacious master bedroom has a queen bed and adjoining full ensuite, second bedroom also has a queen bed. Both bathrooms have full tub/showers and plenty of fresh towels.
Relax after a perfect day on the hill or on the golf course with a cold drink and a soak in a private outdoor hot tub!

The condo was much bigger than I expected and it had every amenity that we needed.
We were travelling with a baby and it was extremely helpful to have a booster chair and toys available.
This condo was a great place to stay over my vacation. My wife and I went to Kimberley and decided to book this place for 3 nights. It was clean and tidy and the unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We only needed to bring our groceries and coffee for the trip which made packing very easy. Carolyn is very helpful and replies quickly; everything start-to-finish was hassle free.
The Mountain Spirit Resort building itself is great, having the private hot tub on the deck was relaxing and made the evenings low key. There is heated storage just outside the front door for all skis, snowboards, etc. which is handy as well. Plus, the short walk over to the chalet and lifts makes this place convenient for guests. Overall, a great get-away. If I find my way back to Kimberley I will be sure to book this unit again!
The fact that all condos are equipped more or less with a standard set of furnishings meant that we had most of what we needed. The attention to details from bathroom supplies to standard cooking basics were extra conveniences for both leaving and coming guests.
We found it annoying that we were unable to watch one or two of the films the owner had left for her guests, because the DVD player is not connected to the TV. We could not find the right cable amongst the tangle of cables in back of the TV. We spent quite a bit of time trying to find the right one to connect but no luck.
We would like to mention that the WIFI works well.
The unit seemed basically clean and we liked the newly painted walls. There were exceptions. Some dark dust balls could be seen on the carpet.
The vents (heating and other) are another place where the dusting had been overlooked. Most visible are the ceiling fans in the bathrooms.
We like to sleep in a cool room, so were glad to be able to open windows and create a better air circulation at night. A ceiling fan is an asset in the warm months. We did like the gas fireplace, it gave a pleasant ambiance and enough heat for us. A chair at the window would have given us natural light where little comes in otherwise.
The kitchen equipment has as many pluses as negatives. I appreciated the large variety of cooking gadgets in case we needed something unusual. However everything was mixed up and the same with the pots. They once were good quality pots and pans but many were worn out, obviously having served in somebody else’s kitchen for a long time. Putting old worn out pots into the condo for guests to use is a put down if not an insult for guests who have paid for the priviledge to use these throwaways. Dishes which have lost their protective finish or glaze (plates) are dangerous to use because the rough surface does not get clean any more in the dishwasher or even by hand, and bacteria can built up. The same for the brown bowls with their chipped rims. The dishes are probably the biggest negative factor of this rental condo. The newer heavy plates and mugs are all right, but the large plates don’t fit into the dishwasher.
The sheets are also rather worn. It seems getting some new bottom sheets and pillowcases would be a small thing to leave for your guests.
Great place and a very responsive, helpful owner. We will be back!
We are located about 150m or 3 minutes walk from the base of the North Star Express High Speed Quad Chairlift of Kimberley Alpine Ski Resort. There are approximately 7 championship golf courses in the area. We are located walking distance from hiking and biking trails in the Kimberley Nature Park and near to several developed mountain biking trail systems.

Once payment is received, the owners will provide a code for the lockbox located on the door to the unit,and the unit number and address. You may then open the door to the unit upon your arrival and no further check in procedure is required.
