My sister and I inherited this townhouse in 2010. We live in Colorado and Utah but have always enjoyed visiting this area.. especially as a warm up in the winter.
The golf course, pool and recreation facilities provide lots of entertainment for us and our kids. Shopping nearby. Good mountain biking and hiking within a short drive.
This property is located in a great location and was in the exact community we were looking for. The unit is quite dated, but fairly clean and comfortable. It could use a deeper cleaning and yard work. We had room to entertain several guests for happy hour, but found the patio furniture uncomfortable for any lengthy stay. The use of the golf cart was an added bonus and quite convenient. Response from the property owner was very good.
We spent 3 weeks at this property while visiting family in Sun Lakes. The property was convenient for all our activities and for visiting sites in Tempe, Scottsdale and Phoenix. The property was clean and well maintained; everything worked well, including the AC. We liked not having to deal with a gate pass. The decor is a bit dated, but the kitchen was well equipped. We used the golf cart a couple of times to go to the pools and we got the renters' cards in order to have access to the Cottonwood activities. The only negative was because it was summer and so hot, the skylight over the dining table allowed that area to become quite warm by the afternoon. Luckily we weren't eating dinners there, so it wasn't an issue. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Bruce adding time to our initial rental.
Unit was clean, spacious and very well provisioned. All appliances worked as they should. Owner was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Recommended property to friends who have rented for next year.
I needed a rental for a short, wait for my house to close, stay. Called Bruce and he was very nice to talk to and accommodating. What a cute comfortable place with anything and everything you might need! One big plus was that you didn't need to stop at a gate to get to your place. Loved the small patio which looks out over green grass, trees and lovely sunsets.

1. $500 security deposit will be refunded if cancelled more than 90 days from the first night or if another guest is found for the rental period.
2. Renter may cancel after full rent has been paid. If the renter does so cancel, Renter will be charged for the lesser of 7 days or the number of days actually used and $10 for each day not used. The remainder of the rent will be refunded.
For the months of June through September, Renters will be responsible for that portion of a monthly electric bill that exceeds $175.
